Just got a UM44 from Urban Mover.

On the left hand side handlebar mounted power switch is a button marked with "Light". I cannot find in any of the literature what it does. Can anyone en"light"en me?

Looks quite similar to my Fast4ward. I dont have a power switch on my handlebar. My power switch is on the battery enclosure. On my handlebar I have a L/H switch for Low and High speed control. Have you got a url to a photo of the bike or perhaps you can take a photo so we can see the set up? ...

At a guess I would say it turns on the lights...? If fitted...

Umm .. I dont have one of those ... but it does suggest that its possible to have integrated lights. Although I dont have them on my Fast4ward .... Does anyone with a UM have integrated lights? ... Something for the future perhaps? ... I have integrated lights on my Cytronex and they are brilliant.

Thats the thing. I certainly do not have any factory fitted lights but neither can I find any socket to tap into the supply. The button functions - if you press it the appropriate led does illuminate. There is no mention of it any of the literature.

Hi Bob,

It was a standard panel that would operate lights on the UM44S & SL when they were fitted. As far as I'm aware, there isn't a way of utilising it on your model.

Many thanks
