Hi , I have a problem that I hope you knowledgeable folk can help me with.
I have a 2 year old E-go 24 which has behaved itself wonderfully until now, it has been a while since I rode it, but have kept it in conservatory and charged it regularly, when I went to ride it today, the handlebar lights flickered then went out. The battery shows fully charged, as It did last night. Please help......many thanks.

Are you close to a shop that can have a look at it. Sounds like it could be an issue with the controller under the battery or the wires on the tines the battery plugs into. Either way this is a very hard thing to diagnose without having a look.

Try this. Remove the battery, take off the plastic covers under the battery holder to expose the controller. Carefully separate out all the cables and connectors. Unplug each connector in turn and re -plug each one a couple of times. Trace any other connectors on the bike and repeat the above. Refit the battery and check . If it's still dead it may be the key switch, you may need some help with this if you are unable to check for continuity. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, do not do anything with the battery in place as a short circuit can be nasty.

Thank you so much I will try that tomorrow, at the moment I am near Herne Bay and it seems that nobody does repairs, there is Kudos cycles I believe, so I may have to contact them if it won't fix .

I wasn't able to take the cover off as I was away from home, but on my return I refitted the battery and turned the key on and off a few times.....hey presto it worked, so it is probably a key problem which is intermittent at the moment.
Thanks again for your help, I am hoping with a lot more use it will be ok, and if not I shall be here again;)
