Hi Ive had a Viking ego 24 for 3 months and the wiring has come out of the controller and all power gone. tesco say they will full refund. But what now? I was thinking i'd go for something a bit lighter with less weight on the back. Has anyone got/had a woosh zephyr? thats about my limit for price . i got the viking instead of the £400 hopper as they'd ran out still for £400 but i dont know whether its best to just fix it or try something else. Any advice would be fab thanks! or a recommendation of a folding elcetric bike for less than £600? thanks

Are they going to refund you and let you keep the bike?

You may have had problems because the bike is based on a hub motor like our Zephyr. These don't perform well if the rider is heavy (no suggestions, just stating), or the area is very hilly or both. Sounds like you may live in Wales, where we tend to sell mainly crank based models to solve this issue?
If you input your postcode into our predictor, the tool will suggest which model may suit.

To answer your question about the wiring coming out. Over the years we have seen a few bikes where connectors are not in properly. Normally, it's just a case of having to reconnect. How do you know that that's what's wrong with your bike? If you can get your money back, and don't mind spending a bit more, a Woosh bike would be better.

Ditto to that.

Also you will get far better support from Woosh, an established e-bike specialist than Tesco, a grocer.
