Hi....would anyone like to tell me the difference between an Oxygen Emate Sci and
a Fast4ward Peak...they both have throttles which I now realize I need and they both have a similar spec.

I'm leaning towards the Peak...£200 cheaper and I know I can rely on Mark for help and advice...I did want a stepthrough but that's no longer a requisite....a rear motor is.

My 200 mile round trip to Loughborough to road test an Oxygen didn't work out too well.

...any advice appreciated....thanks...Mike

Well I am only comparing websites (Ultramotor v Oxygen) but I would say the Oxygen is 7.5kg lighter (the Peak is stated as 63lbs) and the pictures show no mudguards or rack on the Peak although it does say in the test that it has a rack. The battery ah is not stated for the Peak.

What has really confused me now though is reading Oxygen's comments on the site about the LiFePO4 being less suitable for bikes than Lithium Polymer. I had previously convinced myself LiFePO4 was the 'bees knees' - back to the drawing board!

Hi Alfzzar / Mike,

Peak is 21kgs and the battery is a 9ah with Panasonic cells and comes fitted with a rear sports mudguard (although we have some full mudguards if you prefer). Rear racks are available at £24.99, still leaving it £175 cheaper...

Correct spec can be seen here: Hero Eco

Many thanks!
