I can't seem to get the dream trike I would really like so am considering refurbishing an existing trike. Can anyone suggest where I can take an older folding e trike to get advice about new style batteries, tyres and probably a whole new motor? My partner may be able to do the job but need to discuss options with a knowledgeable person first. South oxfordshire/ berkshire area or near.

Possibly not helpful, but best i can do

1. try the guys at velospeed, not trike or kit specialists, but nice guys and very helpful.
2. what kind of trike? if its recumbent there is a place in basingstoke that is trike specialists, not ebike, but might be worth talking to them.

g'luck

sure some of the guys will be along with better suggestions soon ;)

Thankyou. It is an upright, an EasyBike trike. I think the company went out of business before making many of them.

I love the bendy trike, something to remember for when there is more money available I think!

I will give Frank a call, thanks everyone for your ideas.

Can I suggest that you post pictures here, then we can advise you directly.

The best way to show pictures is to open a free Photobucket.com account and upload the photos there, then copy and paste a link in your post here.

Go to www,photobucket.com
Open an account
Click the "upload" button
Browse to the folder in your iPad where the photos are, and click "open"
The photos will upload.
When the photos have uploaded, click on the "library" tab
Browse to the photo you want and click on it to show it.
On the right side of the screen, you'll see a "links" box. Click in the "IMG" link one, and it''ll flash "copied"
Go to your new forum post and paste it however you do that on an ipad (perhaps someone can explain)
Some code will appear, which will change to a full-detail photo when you complete your post.

More simply, but not as good for us, is to upload your photos to Photobucket, then browse to the folder, and copy and paste the URL at the top of the screen.
