Where to start

I'm new to ebiking but am looking to buy a bike ASAP. Considerations are:
1. I'm 6'4" and 17 stone
2. I will be riding on roads and just need some assistance going up hills
3. I don't want to spend too much (over say £500) in case I don't use it much
4. I want something that looks decent (currently use a Claud Butler hybrid road bike)
5. I don't know whether to buy new or 2nd hand

You could bung a Cyclotricity kit on the hybrid, but don't expect it to waft you up out of the valleys - You're a big lad & putting in a bit of grunt could help with that
