Which frame?

Hello. I think I've decided which bike to get but I'm not sure which style frame. I'm going to buy a Cube Touring Hybrid One 500 as it seems perfect for covering long distances on roads and the occasional bike track and it should be good for the odd multi-day trip. I tried a higher spec version with a step through frame last weekend and really liked it but I've read that step throughs aren't as strong or stable as cross bar frames. I don't want to go for a triangular crossbar frame though as, being a short woman, I think I'd struggle to get my leg over (oo er missus!). Can anybody explain the advantages/disadvantages of step through v trapeze frame? Thanks.

step though frames are on average about 500grs heavier but certainly not less strong, at least for most of us, ordinary pedallers.
So if you like the upright, relaxed riding position then go for it.

Go for frame mount battery instead of rack mount. Reduces weight on rear which will be carrying your panniers.
