Hi.....does the peak have "proper" 3cm. wide wheels which would allow me to fit balloon tyres ?
....unlike my Urban Mover Sprite where the wheels are very narrow...
... less than 3cm. at the outside, tapering to almost nothing at the spoke side.
...making me reluctant to purchase balloons.

This'll only make sense if you know what I'm talking about...otherwise don't go there :)

....but if you do...I appreciate the help....thanks....Mike

I don't know wat you're talking about but 3cm does not make a balloon tyre, double that.

Edit: Are you talking about rim width? If so it's not an exact science and you can fit balloon tyres to thinner rims. You can't use high pressure but with balloon tyres you don't need it.

I don't want to spend £50 for balloon tyres and another £30 for mudguards for these thin wheels.

If the fast4ward Peak has wide wheels I may buy one and fit balloon tyres, alternatively I'm 'gonna try to get the motor stitched into some wider wheels.

My final alternative is to buy an Oxygen which I know has wide wheels....very confusing I know :)

cheers....Mike

Worth dropping Mark @ Hero Eco a quick line asking what the width of the rim is. I think the Peak comes with sports mudguards which are more forgiving than full ones

Decisions eh!!
