No, I'm no carrot cruncher, but for the amount of snow we get it wouldn't be worth it. There are a couple of reservoirs near here though!

I think you will find that it will only go so far before it sinks.
If you saw the recent Guy Martin programme he tried it on a converted motocross bike, before he got very far it sank like a stone to the bottom of the lake.

Ahh, but that was just because they were running out of broadcast time & budget - All of those Guy Martin programs ended abruptly with dubious conclusions
