On a different thread I got discussing possibility of wirless charging a 11.1v booster battery made of 18 x 18650 cells in 3s 6p
I decided. see if it worked on 1s 6p (one 3.6v pack of 6 cells of about 1800mah each). I do totally see this is not remotely efficient or quick. I just wanted to know if it could work !
Reason being if it worked then I'd just to replicate the process twice and then series the 3 together
I have a powermat charger mat (7.99 delivered). I took the induction receiver coil off an iPod touch case ( 1.99 delivered). I took the PCb out of one of these. Off eBay
Portable Mobile Power Bank USB 18650 Battery Charger Key Chain for iPhone MP3
The PCb has micro usb input 5v an outputs 4.2v to battery. It also cuts the charge when battery is full. Finally it also has a female usb output at 5v
Looks like this

I soldered a micro usb cable to the output of the power mat reciever . This I plugged into the PCb

As you can see the red on/charge led is on.
Then loosely wired in the battery pack to test it

It works ! Tidied it up a bit

Still works ! One wirless induction charging 3.7v 10ah (ish) pack.
Strap 3 of these together and I think you have automatically self balancing wireless 11.v booster pack
Can also be charged via micro usb . Can also out put via normal usb so can charge whatever gadgets you have that charges via usb
And the led glows blue when it does that too
