On my recently purchased Wisper 905se Sport there are two purple wires dangling below the bottom bracket. Each wire has a plug-in connector for joining them together. Does anyone know what these are for? I've left them unconnected for the moment and just tucked them away. Everthing on the bike seems to work OK.

These are to disable the independant throttle when connected, this is required in some contries, thankfully not ours (yet). If you were to connect these wires, then the throttle would only work whilst pedaling, i.e. as part of the pedelec system.

If they're hanging out though, you'd best tuck themback in to the controler case to prevent them getting damaged/caught on anything :)
