Wisper: great product, better service.

Those who have been following the experiences I've been posting here will know the problems I was having with my Wisper 905 City SE.

The problems are not unexpected, I suppose. What I want out of it is a big ask in two ways: I'm a big guy (115kg ATM, and have been heavier) and I live at the top of a big hill (Map My Ride tells me its a 20% gradient in parts, and that's the easy way up). Its been in and out of warrantee repairs a number of times with various problems associated with that. The last iteration of that the guys in Wisper NZ provided (at no cost!) a 300 watt hub and controller, upgrading the bike considerably.

I'm really really grateful to Anthony and the others at Wisper for putting up with my occasional peevishness during the process and getting this sorted. My partner and friends have been much less patient than I am, and pressuring me to be more aggressive, but I knew that with the responses I was getting from the company here and in private emails things would get sorted out.

Every day I'm stopped and asked about my bike, and its really good to say that the service behind them is excellent.
