wrong pas sensor

Hi all

I ordered a pas sensor with the orange 3 pin connecter juliet I think it's called , but got sent a SM black plug type






This is the one i need above


It cost £7.92 but now seller says how about a £4 refund and a 8% voucher. I am so angry as I said to him no as I paid £7.92 why cant he just send the correct type, then i can send his SM one back its simple enough.

Did you buy it via ebay? If so, open a dispute by starting a return. If he doesn't agree to give you a full refund for a return within a few days, you can ask ebay to step in. They nearly always rule in favour of the buyer. In such situations I've always received a full refund, very often without having to return the item.

EDIT: You did buy it via ebay, it's on your other thread - you're doing it again, starting new threads about the same thing billyboya. It's easier for the hub motor expert dudes to help you, if you stick to one thread about the same issue.

Hi sorry about the thread, its just that I never got any replies, so thought best to start a new thread. will remember next time. yes got it from ebay, But funny part about it is, he has the part I want, WP-90CM which I asked for, plus also what seems strange, is it says the SM type is out of stock anyway. so why send the SM type. I have asked him to send the WP-90CM type orange plug. then can he tell me how to return wrong type one. But all I got from him today was, him saying about giving me a £4 credit plus 8% voucher, WTF do I need all that I just want the correct one. will wait until tomorrow see what he says if no deal then will get a full refund and go elsewhere

Can anyone here advise what’s best PAS sensor for a 36v battery. I’ve got a 12 magnet one now and was gonna try a 6 magnet one. Does less magnets work better or not

It is hard to follow what you get up to or are trying to arrive at.
In the other thread you mention PAS LED not working then say you forgot to fit the magnet disc, then you go on about having a six pole PAS.

Have you more then one bike you are trying to get to work ?

No sorry it was confusing what I said in other post. Ok let’s start again, atm I have a 12 magnet PAS which has been playing up. Like sometimes on any level the motor wont kick in. Then if I say move it closer to sensor then it’s ok again it just seems it works on and off. So that’s why I have ordered a different type with 6 magnets not like what I have now this one

but now have ordered this type a 6 magnets not like the one above and I only have the one bike

oh and the question I was saying earlier about no sensor light as it was because I hadn’t put the disc on lol it’s just that I was trying to clean up old PAS magnets whilst I was waiting for new 6 magnet one to arrive but seller had sent me the black lead connector SM but I wanted the WP-90CM one orange connector Juliet I believe it’s called

?? The Sensor pictured in Post#1 is all in one no magnet disk needed, this design has the magnets internal so is not subject to the same issues of magnet spacing as the 2 part jobs, and it probably has no led to flash either..

When fitting just be mindful the whole sensor does NOT rotate with the pedals/crank Only its inner section, If the whole thing rotates and is only restrained by its flex you will suffer inconsistent motor start up and stops.

I think its an ebike-myth that 12x magnet sensors cause problems, probably because most are 12x magnet sensors and so problems with the type stick in forum followers memories???

RE ebay +1 to the above advice to raise an issue and chase a full refund to spend on the right option (again)
