  1. I'll get a quote from them, thanks.
  2. It is a different manual to that. BUT it's my number bleeding dyslexia that's the problem! The code was 640, not 460!!! I've corrected the original post! Seems the error codes are the same from your PDF to my original manual.
  3. Thanks for replying! My manual says it's a voltage imbalance between cells in the battery. I have never plugged into the USB on the headset. I had a repair done to the wiring from the headset to the motor a while back. I also have two head units, both display the same code. Also tried charging the battery off the bike.
  4. Hi there, I have a KOGA/Bosch Intuvia eBike, had it for 5 years now with no real problems and done over 3000 miles. I haven't used it for a couple of months and when I hopped on it yesterday the second I stopped pedalling I got CODE 460 appear on the headset. If I started pedalling the message went after maybe 3 seconds and I could get power. Upon getting home I find that the battery will not charge, two LEDs light up for maybe 30 sec and then go out. I have tried a battery reset as the manual suggests for the fault and its the same. My question is: Should I take it into a dealer and pay them £££ to get it checked or just bite the bullet and buy a new battery. Cheers!
  5. Nope, mine always came on when you pressed the on button on the head unit. However I road it yesterday until the battery was less then half full, then charged it inside the house, in the warm. Put it on the bike this morning and it now works as it did before! Maybe it's a battery charge/temperature thing.
  6. Hi there, I've been using my Koga with the Bosch Intuvia and the 400w battery on the rear rack. Although I've done about 4000m on it over the last 4 years I haven't used it for 3 months. When I hopped on it today and turned the HMI on I had no MPH display and no drive. I cleaned the contacts of the HMI and the battery, did a hard reset on the battery by taking it off and pressing the button for 30secs but it didn't cure the problem. Finally I pressed the button on the battery while it was on the bike and it sprang to life! Now, everytime I stop and the HMI unit times out I have to press the battery button to turn the bike on. It's not the HMI as I have a spare one I carry. Any ideas? Regards
  7. Hi there, I've been a member for a long time, but never really posted, so hi to everyone! I've been using my Koga with the Bosch Intuvia and the 400w battery on the rear rack. 8. Thanks Martin, still can't find the post though! However I'll try to contact my local dealer to see if he can do the update for me. As you know, I bought mine from a dealer some 250 miles from me.
  9. Is there any fix for this yet Martin? As I predicted, I've done 300 miles since it happened last, not done it again and freezing now so I don't think that's the problem.
  10. Great! I'll still carry a spare though!
  11. Interesting what you say about temperature, yes it was cold! I snapped it on, it turned on for 5 sec and the got locked in the 'shutting down' screen. FYI after discharging it, starting it up again took a while. All it displayed on attaching was an empty battery symbol. Anyway, be interesting to hear what Bosch say. My dealer did, after I found this thread, ring me with the correct reset info... Letting it run down. And they did acknowledge they were incorrect in telling me that programming a new display was a dealer only task. Sods law, I'll probably never need the spare unit!
  12. Just had this happen to me! I had the old 'this is the first time this has happened' from the dealer as well. I asked for a new unit to be sent but they said that they would have to programme the unit onto the bike. Not true, thanks for the info Martin. A new unit can simply be programmed by fitting it to the bike and the electronics in unit will re-programme the display. Same as running the battery out, you have to set the time and the units etc. Basically we are shafted, the unit has an intermittent design fault, I suspect if we can return them SOME dealers will simply reset them by letting them go flat and return them. And anyway we will be without a bike for a week while this happens. I love the bike, and the Bosch drive, it suits me fine so... I've just bitten the bullet and ordered a spare unit, I'll carry two in future as I've bought the bike to overcome the steep hills in Devon and do a decent distance in a day. If I can't rely on getting home (or have to wait 24hours by the side of the road) what the hell use are they? Has anyone tried a direct approach to Bosch?
