  1. Ok so i have 3.5 grand to spend. Thankyou to my grandad He is going to buy me and him a full size electric touring bike. Any more surgestions he is loaded and will spend up to 7k on 2 bikes. Im struggling to find a decent bike. Every shop i go seems to just want to sell their preferred brand not whats best for me
  2. Ok so can anyone surgest a nice commuting full size bike thats well made. That can do the odd 40 mile journey on my days off work as well as the main 20 mile a day commute. Id like a bike that reuses the energy from going down hill into the battery. If thats possible
  3. So i have to omit. You lot were right. My fold up is unsuitible for my commute. Been a shop and saw this for 2 grand. Emotion evo city. It looked awesome but what do you lot think

20 mile 3 to 5 day a week commute. A few hills. My viking does it but its abit cheaply made and you can tell
  6. Chèers will look. I do get some funny looks on my fold up. Especially last sunday when i overtook a group of lycra cyclist on a long steep hill. They didnt look happy
  7. Hi just thought id say hello Due to traffic jams and work parking i bought a viking ego24. If was 250 on ebay so i bought it with the mind that if i didnt like it id probilly be able to sell it on again and hopefully not lose much money Now im totally converted to cycling to work. Love it. I love the fact it has 20 inch wheels but fits in my smart fortwo,s boot. Im lucky that the hospital i work at dont mind me carrying the bike into the store room. Yes its heavy lol but i couldnt cope with 16inch wheels Only issue is quality. Its not bad but now im hooked on my elec bike i am looking for somet else. Anyway thats how i found this site. I do my daily 20 mile commute with a few steep hills. Next time i want better brakes. Better quality fittings. Was thinking of the wisper 806.

I have a viking ego24. Yes i know its very low grade but it was cheap on ebay. And was ok for me to make sure a folding 20inch ebike was right for my commute. Now its time for me to get a better quality bike. Ive seen the 806 but just wondered. Will the 806 be getting any changes in 2015. Id hate to buy one now if there is a new model coming soon. My reason for asking is a local bicycle shop said wisper may be discontinuing the 806.
