  1. I traveled up to London on Saturday to look at some electric bikes, the Vita Bike seemed good value so I thought I would look there first. Parking was a problem but I finally found a place, her indoors went shopping in Kingston. The London Electric Bike Company had lots of bikes, mostly KTM and Kudos but they had their own bike the Vita Uno 26. I asked the owner what is the most popular selling bike,he said the Kudos Tornado,he gave me a map to try the test route. This was my first proper go on an electric bike, these bikes are great fun,I had no idea how quick they are. The test route didn't have any hills but it was long enough to get the idea. Then I had a go on the Vita Uno,it wasn't as quick as the Tornado but I only need a bit of help up the hills. I glanced round the rest of the shop, the KTM bikes looked super but I didn't want to spend that much on my first electric bike. I intended just to look and come back, but at £599.00 it seemed a good deal, the owner threw in the mudguards and lights pack which clinched the deal. Had a long ride on the bike yesterday,I love it,it won't replace my KTM pedal bike but for short hilly trips and back from the pub,it's great.
  2. Thanks, seems a lot of choice at this price. I'll check out the specs. Kudos are not far up in the smoke and Woosh are Southend. Helpful guys, thanks
  3. Why are the bikes so cheap? Are they new or used?
  4. Near to me are e-bikes direct they have a Green Edge CS2 at £649.99 or a Cyclotricity Revolver at £649.00. Any good?
  5. Thanks, but on the right day I love my KTM without a motor. Am intending to buy a complete electric bike.
  6. i have ridden bikes all my life but a bit puffed up the hills now. I have joined this forum to get some advice on what bike to buy. I am about 12 stone,5'9" tall, just 60 years. I have a nice KTM bike that I want to use as a normal bike. I looked at KTM electric bikes but they seem to be priced at 2,000 pounds. Not really sure if an electric bike is for me so I don't want to spend that much to experiment on an electric bike, can I get a nice e-bike for less than 700 pounds?
