  1. Just normal underlations.
  2. We have two Wisper 806 torque bikes, when I was in the Lake District the power on hills even on level 5 seemed lacking. When I used the throttle I got an additional surge of power. This was inspite of pedalling hard having used lower gears. These bikes do not appear to be as powerful as our front hub woosh torque kits fitted to our Thorne road bikes. These have no throttle but give a lot of power when you pedal hard. Should these two systems have similar power?
  3. Can you buy a plug to connect to a Woosh battery?
  4. I have four batteries two 500 & two 375 wh.
  5. Is it practical to use ebike batteries to run low powered domestic items in a power cut at home. Lights, tv, electric blanket etc. If it is how would you connect things up?
  6. Trying to decide between Wisper 806SE & Woosh Rambletta. Any thoughts on quality, hill climbing etc. Going to be used in a van conversion in the gap between the rear seats.
  7. I have fully charged both batteries & will try to take each one for a short ride in the next couple of days. Thanks for your help.
  8. We have not used our Woosh kits for three months because my wife had to have serious abdominal surgery. It is likely to be a further two months before she uses it again. The batteries are registering 39.4 volts today & do not appear to have lost any charge since last used. Is the lack of use going to have any significant impact on the batteries & should I be doing anything to maintain them other than monitoring the voltage.
  9. According to the manual the motor has Rated motor power of 400W. It therefore exceeds 250W & does not comply to UK ebike legislation.
  10. Head injury was the secondary cause of death for 269 cyclists, 1324 pedestrians and 1046 drivers. Why don’t car drivers & pedestrians ware helmets?
  11. Have you tried Sports Pursuit https://www.sportpursuit.com/join/D76DD3484463E3 They have Sealskin Gloves heavily discounted as well as many other cycling & other outdoor activity clothes etc. I have purchased several items from them & have been pleased with the quality & service.
  12. Pedals have axles as do bottom brackets. I can see that his son could easily damage the axle in the pedal, but it would have to be a major accident to damage the bottom bracket.
  13. This is the bottom bracket axle not the pedal axle. I can understand how a pedal axle can be bent but not a bottom bracket axle. Most pedal unscrew using a conventional spanner or a Allen key. Again left hand thread on the right side.
  14. Thanks for all your help, I have now purchased 4 from Flecc’s suggestion.
  15. Can someone please advise me which 26X1.5 ones to order. It is for road use or very good condition tracks only. Maximum puncture resistance but lightest weight. See this advert about 5 different tyres, I do not want the new tyres specifically for e-bikes. I need four so do nt want to order the wrong ones.
