  1. Hi, does anyone have experience of putting a BBSHD in a Scott Genius, XL frame 2012 please? Cheers, G
  2. Hi, thanks for the video. It's the part, behind the PAS disc that I'm trying to get off. Don't think I can take the bearing, between the clutch and disc off, so probably comes off the long exposed side of the axle. Taken the circlip off, but there is a lip, that stops me sliding the disc off.
  3. Hi, have removed the axle on my BBSHD, to change the magnetic PAS disc, have changed the sensor already, metal on disc has split in half. Have finally got the circlip that holds the disc off, on the long axle side, but now stuck. Any ideas or pointer to a video please? Many thanks, Gareth
  4. Sorry, more importantly,is there a way I can test whether it has failed. By replacing the magnet on a temp basis to check? Have fixed the throttle not working, but Pas does, just not this way round.
  5. Thanks for your reply. Why would the magnet fail please?
  6. Hi, have throttle, but no PAS on my BBSHD, guessing the sensor is fried.Have unplugged the speed sensor, 6kph walk function works. Will try reprogramming it tomorrow.Does anyone know where I can get one in the UK please?
  7. Hi, I'm looking to buy just the lock ring nut for a BBSHD. Had a look online, but they only seem to sell the whole assembly kit. Does anyone have a spare for sale please? Cheers, G
  8. Hi Peter, thanks for the reply and your patience.I have built 5 BBSHd bikes and changed the internal gears to PEEK etc. More mechanically minded than electronically. So please excuse the last question. The new bike is far lighter than mine, narrower tyres, lighter rider, and only meant for commuting. Was intending to lower the Amps to 25 to hopefully increase longevity of both the bike and my Mrs. Would lowering the Amps be a safer bet as well? Many thanks, G
  9. Hi Peter, thanks for the reply. So a 48v and 52v BBSHD are essentially the same thing, apart from the Firmware?
  10. Hi Guerney, I have built and reprogrammed a few BBSHD bikes now and realise the risk is all mine if I mess it up. The dealer is in Germany and where I live, it is very difficult to send ebike batteries by post, would take a long time. Was just wondering if it could be done with the Bafang config tool that Penov made?
  11. Hi, supplier has sent me a 52v battery instead of a 48v for a 48v BBSHD build I'm doing for the Mrs. They claim they were out of stock, so will I keep the 52v one. How can I make 48v motor compatible with a 52v battery please? Can it be done with Penovs Config tool? Have reprogrammed my BBSHD, which is 52v with correct battery, so never looked to see if there was a setting for this. Many thanks, G
  12. Hi Lenny, thanks for the reply. Do you think could change the settings in Penovs Bafang config tool, so I could run the 48v BBSHD with the 52v battery please? The vendor is not exactly being cooperative with having it returned. Claims they sent the 52v as out of stock of the 48v, hmmmm.
  13. Problem solved, they sent a 52v battery. Ace.
  14. Hi, recently took delivery of a 48v BBSHD and 48v 20ah battery. DCP18 display is showing High Voltage warning Error 7 Any ideas please? Many thanks G
  15. Thanks for replying, by the way
