  1. Thanks for your reply Shambolic. Unfortunately I live in Glasgow so test-driving it is kind of difficult.
  2. Hi Shambolic I am looking for a foldable bike and yours sounds great. I am 6'7" tall so I am worried if I'll fit well on it. Where do you live? Is there any chance of to test-drive it and see how it feels? Looking forward to hear from you, Regards
  3. Hi Mathew, Just noticed your ad. I know that the auction has finished. Was the transaction completed or is the bike still available? If it's still available, please let me now. Regards
  4. Hi Namder, I am very inexperienced with electric bicycles but I have experience of both bikes and motorcycles and that's why I'll give my thoughts. It sounds to me that this how it is designed to work. And you'll be used to that in no time. It's a Pedal assist bike and sound like one with a torque sensor. If you switch it on it while pedaling, you'll need to increase your torque/power so that the sensor picks it up. It doesn't sound much of a problem. Just predict circumstances and activate it before you need it. Even before the hill. You should be fine. I wouldn't be bothered with it and I am actually considering buying the same bike. Will you please give us more feedback on your first impressions? How long does the battery last? How powerful is the motor, especially on steep hills? How does it ride otherwise? People who used previous models were complaining about the brakes. How do you find them? Finally, I am quite unfit and quite big and tall (6'7" and 135 kilos or 21 stones). Do you think that this bike is tall enough and powerful enough to suit me? Enjoy your new bike and I am looking forward to hear your thoughts. Regards
  5. Mary is one of the nicest and most generous people I have ever met. She gave us for free a bike in very good condition and she was very kind to explain in detail everything. My partner rode it already and she was smiling like a kid the whole time as the bike rode perfectly. I have nothing but excellent words to say about Mary and I wholehearteadly wish her the best and to enjoy her new bike. I know that we will. Mary is a true ambassador of the ebikers' community.
  6. Dear Mary, Very kind of you to offer your bike for free. I would like to give it to my partner so we can start exercising pleasantly. Since, it's not going to be used for regular commuting, I don't find it a problem that it misbehaves. Besides, I am quite electric minded, so I hope that I'll be able to repair it or re-wire it. But even if I don't manage, it's still going to be very useful for us. I'll be grateful if it's still available and you are willing to give it to us. I can drive from Glasgow and collect it during the weekend so you can free up some space in your shed. Looking forward to hearing from you, Regards Kleo
