Injuries not healing - disabled mostly today. NHS DOCTORS SAVED MY LIFE. Driver not admitting liability and latest evidence said she threatened to sue me and I am not insured. Five broken bones in neck x 3, shoulder, spine. BRAIN BLEED WAS AN HOUR ON SITE DEATH THREAT

I've .been out on this bike, but it needs changes, no throttle is a big handicap.

New bike on loan:

12 miles on flat paths to Bramber and back to Shoreham and my eBike is out of juice. Two and a half hours and scarcely a stop for photographs.

585 miles, I do the same with my lights

Lights now working, battery capacity not enough. Small wheels make me feel uneasy on uneven surfaces. i.e. urban roads

12 & 13/10/21 Lights do not work when needed. Battery graph on capacity left insufficient and unclear in practical use. Green and blue graph, not clear what they mean.

10/09/21 Lights used for the first time, not bright enough to see the potholes.

I bought a hybrid but it was not robust enough for comfort on the roads = buy a mountain bike with 26" wheels/ 5 ft 6"

Happy with it (best) for short trips but I need a mountain ebike with more battery capacity and larger wheels for longer trips over 15 miles = next year now. 1 Like

Throttle is a boon

I've got Parkinsons and this one is safe to ride https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/alba-ebike-log.41583/ I've also got hemianopsia which makes cycling very tricky with balance. When I had the brain clot I only realised I was partially blind when I cycled into a lamppost.

Bike will only do about 15 miles from fully charged, not enough, Not suitable for bumpy terrain because of the small wheels.

Just cycled 97 miles, but weather has been poor. Not sure how many miles the battery will do? Roughly five miles a day cycled and I usually charge up at night.

I had to change the saddle as the one provided was too wide. New one did not have a handle for lifting the bike. [MEDIA=flickr]2mezoTj[/MEDIA]
