  2. Is it possible to put a 500 bosch battery tube in the 750 bosch battery space?
  3. I don't know much about the crossfire but I would want the cube to have 500 battery and a CX 75nm motor. I think think the reaction is 65nm Its a shame that most ranges of cube ebikes are sold out
  4. Thanks for the tips, I bought the bike with cash and had a test ride (shame my original bike was stolen!) but this is a good replacement
  5. thats a good idea, but im not sure someone would be happy me riding around on their bike...
  6. ok, is it best to pay pay pal and be in possession of bike?
  7. I guess viewing the bike first is best Do you pay in cash or paypal? Best to get receipt from original purchase, will be covered under warranty if Bosch?
  8. looking around there are a few reports of risk of 503 error, would this be a risk with 4 gen on A) buying new B) updating the firmware ( is the firmware only updated by taking to the bike shop?) if there is 503 error will the bike stop working, read that it can happen up ro 3 times before needs factory reset?
  9. Does anyone know of badass dongles or any other are working with Gen 4 Bosch?
  10. I appreciate this sounds strange, however looking down at the purion screen I saw a scrolling message, at first i thought it was an error message, the last words that I deciphered read chav followed by a smiling face using - symbols! very bizarre, no alcohol or drugs involved, thought worthy of a post just in case...very strange.. unless a a very elaborate hallucination!
  11. looks like a nice light weight bike https://urbanebikes.com/collections/coboc/products/coboc-one-soho
  12. im not sure if you can increase the speed on the 2020 bosch motors, someone else would have abetter idea, may e worth checking if dongle compatible
  13. Does anyone know if this can be dongled in the usual ways, it has a 2019Kiox display, perhaps this feature would be a problem? Other views on this bike would be most welcome https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cube-Reaction-Hybrid-SL-500-Kiox-27-5-29er-2019-Electric-Mountain-Bike_200372.htm?sku=601510&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI07KEwtzm5QIVSEPTCh1hcQ8bEAQYAyABEgJBBPD_BwE#

  15. How about the thudbuster, more expensive, is it better?
  16. I'm looking for a new bike and saw there are big differences with the new motor I was interested in getting one but see they cannot be derestricted... 10 FACTS ABOUT THE 2020 BOSCH PERFORMANCE LINE CX More powerful: while torque remains constant at 75 Nm, the support of the new CX motor has been increased from 300% up to 340%. More compact: compared to the previous model, the volume has been reduced by almost 50%. Granted, the previous CX motor was quite bulky! This will allow for better, more sophisticated integration as well as improved bike geometry. Lighter: the new CX motor features a magnesium housing and weighs 25% less than its predecessor – around 2.9 kg. More sensitive: eMTB mode has been reprogrammed to deliver consistent power over a wide cadence range. Sprinting out of the gate or pedalling at an even cadence? In eMTB mode, the support feels very natural! Better modulation: Turbo mode has also been updated and is less choppy, especially when you get going, though still very powerful! As usual, the CX motor has four modes: Eco, Tour, eMTB and Turbo. Smoother: the transition at the 25 km/h threshold has been significantly improved. Instead of a mini chainring and a gearbox, the power is now transmitted directly via a large chainring. The motor has almost no internal resistance, which should eliminate the draggy feel of the previous model when pedalling above the 25km/h cut-off. Quieter? unfortunately not. The new motor has some noise issues – especially with the chainring’s new freewheel (for more details see our review on page XX). Narrower: the Q-factor (distance between the cranks) has been narrowed down to 175 mm in order to provide a more natural pedalling sensation. The narrower, the better. To compare, Yamaha’s motor is under 170 mm, Shimano’s is at 177 mm, and Brose’s is more or less 180 mm wide (depending on the cranks). Greater capacity: in addition to the previous 500 Wh internal battery, you’ve now also got the PowerTube 625, for more capacity and longer rides. Goodbye tuning: new anti-tuning software detects motor tuning and manipulation via sensors while you’re riding which then automatically switches the motor into limp home mode. Bosch is thus responding to the requirements of the EN15194: 2017 standard. .
