  1. Thanks, I'll follow it up.
  2. Thanks for the hint. I may end up having to splice.
  3. thanks d8veh, I was hoping to avoid splicing - partly for appearance/waterproofing, partly because of lack of skill. But, if I can't find the cable I'll have to rope my son in to do some soldering/splicing for me.
  4. Folks I'm installing a TSDZ2 on my wife's recumbent trike and I think I will need an extension cable. Does anyone know what this connector/cable is called and where I might be able to get an extension cable? Thanks OB
  5. d8veh, what controller would you recommend for something like a Q128C to give smooth control and good torque for slow speed hill climbing (not MTB'ing)? Thanks.
  6. Thanks Woosh, what do you think of the Tongsheng TSDZ2 in comparison to the BBS-01 (both in 250W versions)? Ken
  7. d8veh, has the problem with not being able to push backwards been solved? Is it a problem with the clutches not releasing properly that could be solved by using a lighter grease or an oil? The reason I ask is that I'm looking for a kit for my wife's recumbent trike. She has some difficulties with stamina and strength and needs some relatively slow speed (8-12km/h) help with hills. The XiongDa sounded ideal but for the pushing backwards issue. If not the XiongDa, is there another motor you would recommend?

G'day from Aus, I'm in my 60s and retired. I'm mainly interested in kits that might be suitable for my wife's trike when the time comes that she needs some help. Not to soon I hope. In the meantime I'll soak up some info. OB
