  1. Information if like me you have an Oxydrive kit and your battery is losing it's stamina. (Oxydrive aren't selling kits any more) I just got one from a place called Yose power. They are also on Ebay and Amazon. (I got mine via Amazon) It's identical to the Oxydrive, the charger, the rack the battery (apart from colour). Yose power I have had the Oxydrive kit for about 5 years and it's been faultless. But the battery is only doing about 15 miles now between charges and luckily I found this place. Another review: I made this kit up for going to work on and consequently I bought pretty expensive tyres for fewer punctures, Schwalbe Marathons, about twice as much as others at least. I ride generally in the dark months to work, when the clocks are on BST, i.e. October - March, the worst time to ride, wet dirty crappy roads. 5 years, never had a puncture.
  2. What a low life. if you want to do 30mph + on the road grow up and get a motorbike and a license it's not a playground
  3. I phoned them up last week no problem. Maybe they aren't always available?
  4. That'll be a nice little jaunt in the morning.
  5. I doubt you can directly fit. Unless you have a wheel to measure up. V brake will probably not hit right. Surely someone must have a 26 kit in stock?
  6. As for spinning out you can actually raise the speed you can twiddle at by practice.
  7. It looks just like my oxydrive rack actually. (Not the one I pictured) so you are missing fittings. Mine has 3 elastic straps also for tie down. Mine came fully assembled.

  9. It looks like you have something missing. See the bottom of the triangles should have adjustable metal strips with holes to connect to the frame.
  10. Get a 700 c kit then ☺ get a bike off ebay.
  11. Amazon do some good racks. My sirrus is done. I am over the moon with it.
  12. Oh that's right burst my bubble ☺
  13. Thanks d8veh. It was your recommendation that made me plump for this kit. I am very very pleased with it.
  14. I went for my first ride. Just popped down the road and back. As I got in I looked at the display. 18 miles ! I am so impressed. 20 miles now and the battery still has all 5 bars showing! What how can that be?I press the integral battery tester. Yep that shows all L.E.D.s too. Voltage down to 37V from 40V initially. Admittedly I like to pedal a bit. Only use 4 assist and drop to 2 assist on shared paths with dogs and children but still I am astounded.
  15. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160228/d453c6224155f9180e676a300b0abaf1.jpg Lecktrick bike knackers dog !
  16. I like that. Retro. I like bicycles that look like bicycles.
  17. As a note. The only problem I had was the pedelec sensor didn't have enough clearance betwixt the crank arm and the bottom bracket. So it would not rotate with the crank. So I just filed a little bit off of the crank arm. Probably 1mm or so and it was sorted.
  18. I definitely ain't cuttin' nuffink ☺ I've got a load of cable ties. Somewhere.
  19. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160227/9d434729649ae4136b3000aa6a517d59.jpg Almost finished. Any good ideas on tidying the wiring?
  20. Obey. Consume. Conform.
  21. I have an oxydrive kit too. Mine doesn't freewheel like a normal wheel either but I would expect a motorised wheel to have some drag or am I mistaken? I haven't hooked it up yet, doing that tomorrow, but I have ridden the bike around the block and it doesn't feel like anything is wrong to me. It must be unlikely a brand new wheel would have a stuck clutch I would have thought?
  22. I've got the same kit. So I can give it a try at the weekend. But judging by merely spinning by hand it looks very similar.
  23. You probably wouldn't even get the bare frame for a storck bike for 2 grand !
