Hi everyone,
First of all allow me to introduce myself. I'm David, living in the center of Belgium and have just bought my first pedelec. I opted for an e-MTB, a Trek Powerfly+ 9 with optional Nyon display.
I'm defenitely not here to bash the Nyon , I know it isn't perfect, but it has worked quite well for me. With its 8Gb, I can load maps for several countries (for when I travel) and the fitness info is motivating . I also appreciate that I can download bike routes to it, a feature that I use quite a bit.
Now for my question ;
I use my bike as main transportation to get to work every day. The Nyon tells me when a text message from my Phone comes in however it doesn't display it. It tells me to stop to read the actual message. So the last time I received a text while biking, I decided to stop and see if the Nyon would display the tekst message.... Nothing... Then while stopped I searched the interface for an option to read the text message.... Nothing to be found...
I know, I know, I can just stop and grab my Phone to read the text message, however when I bike the Phone is tucked away safely in a large backpack which I use when biking to work and back. So it would mean, stopping, getting off the bike, searching through the backpack... etc...
My question; Is there any way to actually read the message on the Nyon???
Thanks
David
