  1. This is now sold. Thank you to Woosh for putting me in touch with the buyer. Sorry but I cannot edit the original post to say it is sold.
  2. Roybut replied to Quicken's topic in Classifieds
Hello, I also cannot edit the post for the Woosh Karoo. It has been sold. Could someone please edit it for me, please?
  3. Thanks, Woosh. I will do that tonight after work.
  4. I bought this as a temporary measure to travel about 10 miles to work and rode it for about 7 months. My company has now moved offices and it is no longer needed It has 2118k on the computer which is about 1300 miles. It is in pretty good condition. However, it had a faulty derailleur which has been replaced by Woosh. When the derailleur broke it buckled the rear wheel a bit. This still needs straightening. That is the only thing wrong with it. It still rides very well with the slight buckle. It can be straightened fully by anyone with the correct tools or by any bike repair shop. This is reflected in the price I'm asking. Also, I changed the front mudguard as the one from Woosh was rubbish. The bike does not come with the lights in the pictures. I still have the paperwork from Woosh but it will be out of warranty as I think that was for a year. I purchased it in Feb or March 2016. Please see pics. The bike is in Worthing, West Sussex and must be collected. I will not post it. You are welcome to test ride it by leaving the full amount for the bike as security. Cash on collection. £400 or close offer.
  5. I had a look as it sounded like a great idea but it only tells you where your phone last knew of your tracker, not where it is now. So if your bike is stolen from your garden, unless the thief is a neighbour, it will tell you that you bike is still in your garden.
  6. Thanks Rob. The shed is very well constructed. It's not exactly airtight but as close to it as any shed I've ever seen so I think I'll drill a couple of holes in it for ventilation.
  7. Simple as that. I imagined there was something I was missing . Does anyone who leaves there bike in a shed cover the computer? Anyone had problems if not doing that?
  8. Thanks for the reply, Trex. I do have a garden shed and it is very well designed so no water should get in. I'll be keeping the bike indoors at work, too. What do you think about the suggestion to cover the computer to stop it getting too cold? Also, what is the deal with the pressure gauge on the pump?
  9. Hi all, I'm about to become the owner on a new ebike. I've never had one before. I'll be using it on a mostly flat 20 mile round commute. What sort of things should I be worried about? I've been told to be careful of letting the computer get cold overnight as it could fog and eventually ruin it (and the bike would stop working). Are there any sheaths for this? What about the bike getting wet? (puddles, heavy rain, etc). I'm sure I'll have other questions but can't think of them yet. Thanks, Roy
