do you have any solutions to a fix for my ado then. It has power, but motor will not kick in . I can’t pedal it it’s too heavy.

Hey guys it’s been a while. sooo. For a few years I’ve had an ado16 very little trouble until it just quit on me I guess it’s the motor. Took to a bike shop who does e bikes. Couldn’t fix I don’t think he even opened it. alas I’ve put it to one side and looking for something else. I need lightweight (ado was just able to carry). I live upstairs with knowwhere to store. therefore need to carry it. by searching lightweight it tends to be really expensive stuff. But along came heybikes and Fiido and now obviously once I’ve searched all these other things pop up on my feed. trying to keep the list short. and pay under £1500. i joirney to work early every morning and have a bike shed when I get there. another question is it advisable to stand an e-bike on its back wheel. Hey guys. I finally got round to getting my battery fixed by Jimmy. It works now. But...... Switched on all the light came on. The only light that didn't show up was the headlight. . Whohoo, Started pedalling you can hear the bike connect. Sound of whirring. Get going a little faster I probably 3rd gear. Pull the throttle n press the button... nothing. No change what's so ever no assistance. Kept going trying different things such as press button first then throttle. Throttle then button. Just button. Just throttle. What am I doing wrong. Is it my crank? Or motor ? How much will that cost me. Or do I just put it in a shop n get sorted. Cheers in advance.

I was looking at these bikes but there is little to no information on the battery. If a new one was required. Other than asking Jimmy to upgrade it. And this is a current best seller so where do peeps get their batteries from. I'm still to send my battery off to jimmy for my upgrade as you can't get em for my bike any longer. I think it will be a Xmas present to myself. N when that's kaput I'm off to get a lightweight folder.

Holy shit. I sent a message to him n then I found him on eBay. eBay says £2000 or £ 999. I hope to gawd those prices are wrong. His website says £195. Ha ha. Let's hope it's a good price otherwise this bike is heading for scrap. N I'm saving up for a brand new one with a credible battery.

Like I said any help is greatly received. So where is best place to recell my battery ? I don't fancy doing it myself. I don't have soldering equipment Gawd I've no idea. Or do I have to change the whole thing. That may be a problem as the base is welded into the bike ?? Or does that screw off n replace that to ?

I've looked on the site to repackage my battery and I'm sure they only go up to 3ah. That's crap ain't it ? The website suggested is called sertronics

Am I right in thinking. If I get a li-ion charger it will kill my nimh battery anyway ? So I defo need a nimh charger. ??? I'm getting a bit puzzled now n all I bloody want is a charger n battery that works. Not a bike sitting doing nowt. All help gratefully received.

A third connection ? Just been on maplins site n they have connectors. Fem to fem. should I get one of those to use with the chargers that powacycle are offering ? My battery has the male so I need female charger. I that helps. I don't think anywhere does female lrx chargers. Well maybe china n I'm not buying from there.

Ok I've got the bike now. So I need a charger to see if this one still has life my battery seems to have LRX3 3 pin. So I need the female charger. Or is it a PAJ3. Been in touch with powacycle n they say I can't have battery thin enough to fir my bike but I can have a charger. Says output 3 pin. Is that correct for my bike ? Sounds wrong to me. Or I can get mine recelled but I still need a bloody charger. No help really.

Oh am I screwed if I can't remove the battery from the bike ?

Think I'm gonna need it light as the Cambridge isn't a light bike to start with. Have read the auction again n says lithium battery. So may just need a charger first. It was given to a church so there is no charger. Do they need a key ? Gawd I've no idea. Ha ha.
