  1. Ok right, well thanks again.
  2. Oh man you are a legend!!! Thanks for all the help, I will now order the controller. Have you got a Paypal so I could send you like a £20 beer token or something. Thanks again.
  3. Oh really, not ideal but I do only weigh about 56 kg and the bike is really light and I could reach 20 quite quickly. Anyway picked up a controller early morning cheap from bath. No joy, no instruction but the guy gave me a link where he says he bought. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01I6C6HKK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thick black which is negative I'm certain. Now Thick red positive: Problem, If I connect this to the battery I get a spark fly. Does that mean it’s also connected to negative? If I connect thin red to battery positive it seems to work. I get about 5v coming out of the 3 throttle wire. I get about 12v from the small hall wires which my motor does not have. I get full power coming out of the thick red…? I can not get the motor running. I have the throttle connect and the thick three hall wires connected to the motor nothing. Is there something I'm missing here. Is there a way to bypass the throttle to rule that out. Do I need to do anything with thick red? Opened it and took a pic but don’t know what I’m looking at.
  4. Final got the wheel the writing is BFSWXH36V250w185R 28 1203241479 Fits on the bike and when I touch the hall wires I get resistance when I turn the wheel the opposite way that a go sign sign. Is there in where i can take to get tested before I buy the controller near bristol? . Any members with sensor less brushless controller, don't mind a drive.
  5. I don't have it yet, I will report when I get it. I think this is it. http://www.ebike-solutions.com/de/shop/motoren/motoren-bis-250w/bafang-swxh-hinterradmotor-36v-250w.html What about controller should I go for the second one I posted? Cheers
  6. Which one? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EV37D7Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3JOIFMN3ONQR9 will this on be faster? 22a https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H56INEQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A6XQPVRXUZ1KA
  7. Ah ok thanks much appreciated, you been big help. I have 12t which is close enough.
  8. Should I just get this one from panda with LCD, I'm guessing I don't need a hall sensor. http://www.pandaebikes.com/product/36v-250w-electric-bicycle-ebike-brushless-motor-controller-hall-sensor-control/
  9. Ok thanks, oh no... what is it? it came up cheap on eBay and I bought. Is it a Free-hub gear set or freewheel? I think it's a Copy of Bafang SWXH 36v, 250w by trio Here is ad; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391648704561?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  10. Lol, so which one is better? Freewheel or cassette? Why would the Chinese one not fit? If the speeds match does it matter in terms of fitment. Like 8 speed free hub gear vs 8 freewheel?
  11. BFS WXH three wire connection, the battery is off a a2b metro
  12. Quick question, can I use one of these as booster battery. Bought it one 2 years old never used. Seem to still work. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/68800MAH-Portable-Diesel-Car-Jump-Start-Pack-Booster-Charger-Battery-Power-Bank-/391546342585?hash=item5b29fb0cb9:g:z6AAAOSwi0RXxUgW If so what controller would I need? 36v battery going to 250w motor
  13. Oh right my bad, so at 2:41 why where you changing gear if not pedalling?
  14. What is that hub or mid? Edit sorry must be mid.

  20. Have you checked out the germany ebay seem a lot cheaper and they post here fairly cheaply. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250W-E-Bike-Fahrrad-Hinterrad-Conversion-Kit-Heckmotor-Umbausat-Controller-DEU-/401230264232?hash=item5d6b2ff7a8:g:HQQAAOSwGtRX0oI3 http://www.ebay.de/itm/E-Bike-Conversion-Kit-36V-350W-28-Umbausatz-Bafang-Heckmotor-Display-Sinus-Contr/222353890598?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D38052%26meid%3Dff3865d32ab94018af8c7cdcf304df5b%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D222353890598
  21. Close but mine is 6 pin and middle pin is lower down not in the middle. Anyway thanks but I'm going to ditch the plug. I removed the battery, had to get the angle grinder now weights 3.6kg thanks free so much lighter. Just need to pick a motor now...
  22. Yeah spot on it's 6 kg on the dot, just weighed. I think I prefer hub motor but my bike has carbon blade don't fancy changing them. I think I need a light weight rear 250 then motor? Any suggestion.
  23. Ok thanks I will go for the rear. Cyclotricity don't seem to sell the 250 rear. I might just go for the 500.
  24. Sorry newbie, managed to open it. How would I go about wiring? Red and black are plus and neg I guess. Not sure about the yellow and orange, lights? computer? controller? I plan on buying the cyclotricity 250 watt front for my road bike. I was thinking maybe I could keep the battery and controller inside my backpack and just run some sort easy quick connect to the motor. To keep the bike looking clean. Anyone done that? Is it possible? Would I be better off with a 500w rear? How much weight difference is there? I remember it was torture pedaling without power on the A2B. I was thinking if the motor is in the front I know there will be some resistant but not as much as on the rear with a big motor.
  25. How would I go about find out what each hole does? 1 ground, 36 volt maybe also 5v
