  1. thanks for the link, I saw it yet the main concern is the installation seems complicated compared to go-e. I know that they are not ideal but at least you can remove them easly and use the bike as a normal bike. Still not decided between the two or even something else. thanks again
  2. I am not sure if I am brave enough will see, at the moment go-e looks as it is very simple to install comparing to add-e, and without any damage to my bike if I hate it and would like to remove it. but not sure yet
  3. Thanks Grebee. I sent this company email but no response. Then I come across this which seems very interesting, any thought? http://www.bimoz.ch Thanks
  4. What about this conversion, it seems suitable for Dahon bikes, not sure, any one try them? It is only 3.5kg including battry, thanks http://m.freedomebikes.com/Kit-for-Brompton--Dahon--Tern.html
  5. Hi All I found this very light weight new bike, only 14kg and 20", any one heard about this supplier before, is it a good bike? http://dillengerelectricbikes.co.uk/electric-bikes/folding-electric-bikes/opia-by-dillenger.html Thank you
  6. thanks Anotherkiwi, but it will already add more than 5kg, not sure if it is to fit. Thanks
  7. thanks Geebee, looks nice, but not very keen to export directly from china.
  8. Sorry I did not get, do you have a solution which will come up soon ? thanks
  9. It looks intresting but cost £2500 ?
  10. Thanks Anotherkiwi, I did and the estimate was for 9ah battery was around £750 and with delivery charges will be £850 as no one near by doing that. I also was thinking to buy Brompton with nano conversion but the cost will be around £1850-£1950. I am not sure whether it is a good idea or perhaps better to wait for the NEW Brompton ekectric bike (not sure when it will come). So as I have no experience in fitting electric conversion I thought the above kits may be easier to fit and can transform my Dahon to even much better bike. Thanks again
  11. Thanks Cricket and KudosDave for all your input and sorry for the late delay. My head is swing around all ebikes, kudos secert still an option but I am still keen to find the light weight bike, so at the moment I am looking for other options, see please my new thread http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/add-e-go-e-or-hidden-power-kit.25519/ Thank you all again
  12. Hi all, this is a great place to find information about ebike, thanks all in advanced. I was looking for light weight ebike (folding) but it seems what I am looking for is not there. So I was thinking to go for the converting route. First I have Dahon vitess D8 which I love, so I am thinking to convert this or even buy Brompton and do the same. For Brompton I found information about nano kit but I have also been told that it will weight around 17kg so not light anymore. I found the following websites which offer attactive solution either for my Dahon or if I buy Brompton, but I have no idea which one is the best or whether they are good for what I want. Also I would like to be able to fit it myself (no experience what so ever). I only need an ebike for 5-10mils on full charge but some hills around. Thank you http://www.add-e.de https://go-e.bike/en/ http://www.hiddenpower.eu
  13. Thanks Cricket, yes it seems not an easy decision. I will try the kudos secret and may be halfords coyote commute folding ebike as they seem similar , would you mind if I ask which bike you have (I mean the one you are talking about). Thank you
  14. So it seems that it is less powerful than yours, it will not be all 10 miles hilly of course but with this less powerful motor can do any hills?, would yours do hills if so how does it feels. I may need to forget about weight then. Thank you
  15. Thanks KudosDave, could you please let me know how I can contact you about this. Thanks
