  1. No not this, it has a electric motor that tops out very fast, like a 1600w EVO powerboard only faster and belt-fed, a hand full of throttle now brings me just a second of thrust then a clunk and throttle then becomes unresponsive, turn it off then back on again and it's does the same thing, what is your opinion Andrew?.
  2. I forgot to say i will take your advice and recharge this monstrosity again to see if it is battery BMS.
  3. It should be over well over 50% capacity, it lasts days of daily hourly use when fully charged and this happened not long after days use and a recent re-charge, so it was never a drained battery issue for me. The digital voltage meter is crap, and the numbers 5 and 6 look the same!. When fully charged it says 58V, though i thought maybe it is 68V since it is a 60V system, but regardless -when near empty it reads in theory' 47-48V with a average 10 number drop from full to near empty so 58V full to 48V when empty. Unbelievable though, as i was riding the bugger about 1hr ago after i loosened the handlebar wiring and the voltmeter stopped dropping as i turned scooter the handle bars left i thought i had cracked it. After that i only drove around the block and it was working fine, then it began randomly cutting out even with voltage reading stable, it would work then make a clunk/thud noise coming from motor/footplate then just unresponsive throttle, and then only by switching ignition between lights on and lights off, and power on and power off would it then work momentarily again for a second or two. Stumped, lost -with a seller in China who just doesn't wanna know, hes stopped answering my calls, e-mails and WhattsApp weeks ago after i merely asked for the $146 he owed me from the shipping/freight difference. Muggins...
  4. Yes I have and it all seems fine, strange thing is that now the voltage dropping issue is fixed, the handle bar wire tension was too tight and now I does not drop when turning left. but now it runs for a few second then I hear a grunt under my feet then it shuts off, but when I switch the ignition to LED lights it again works again for a second then stops!, turning it off then on again does this over and over again, what is going on?.
  5. There is an electrical connection going from brake clutch to controller, it is like a manual cut off, but I disconnected it.
  6. That sit is fake mate, the last one was called e-skate-boards.co.uk, they were taken down for multiple fraud, the sit has no phone number and just like the last one it states itself as as "distributor and supplier" of electric scooters and skateboards. It's fake.
  7. Right ok, first apologies for being so vague with the full details at first, I have been very busy and preoccupied. I now have a multimeter, how do I go about using this multimeter to check for faults?. And again "Thank You" for all of your your help and assistance danielrlee..
  8. lwa sorry for late reply, and i really am sorry for being so vague regarding some details, apologies for not being so specific and detailed when i clearly should have been.. i dont have a multimeter nor the expertise. Now it is accelerating by itself when turning left, jolts once then nothing, twist throttle nothing, turn scooter left and it jerks forward. I REALLY DO APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR HELP AND ASSISTANCE ON THIS FORUM GUYS, BUT IM RESIGNING MYSELF TO THE FACT THAT I WILL PROBABLY NEVER HAVE THIS HING WORKING AGAIN. THE COMPANY "ETHON BIKE TECHNOLOGY" ARE NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS, E-MAILS OR WHATSSAPP, I SHOULD HAVE KEPT MY MONEY, INVESTIGATED THIS COMPANY AND SCOOTER INTERNALLY A LOT SOONER.
  9. no when I first got this scooter I noticed it would drop the voltage when turning left, then I noticed melting phase wires(blue+green), so I changed them all to stronger blocks, but the voltage fault started happening not long after it arrived and before the phase wire fix. Now as I say, upon twisting throttle it jerks once then stops, same thing with turning it left -it jolts then stops.
  10. Just a clutch brake, throttle and voltmeter. I tried to make a video but file was not allowed. Voltmeter goes up and down depending which direction I turn it.
  11. no, nothing else was disconnected whilst we worked on the coloured phase wires, the brass blocks are also crimped. Previously turning the handle bars left whilst stationary would drop voltage right down, now turning scooter handle bars left makes it jerk once then stops, why is this happening?, and Thank You danielrlee for you help..
  12. I have just taken pictures of the new connections, pure brass blocks with heat shrinking around, much better than steel with plastic housings. here's the wierd thing, when I turn the handle bars left it not only lowers the voltage but it also jolts forwards, just the once then when I straighten it up and turn it left again it does the same thing!
  13. Hello, what happened was when I looked under the footplate I noticed a couple of the phase wires(blue+yellow)were melting the plastic housing, so I replaced them with stronger solid brass connections, then the problems started. Upon turning ignition and twisting throttle it would jolt momentarily then stop dead, only occasionally turning it off then back in again would it work for a second jolt again then nothing, I stumped. All the while the voltage meter stays level, what's going on?.
  14. It's such a shame, this thing has barely been used, when it was working the speed was intense, but quality control underneath must be whack.
