Juicy do you still sell these? Or similar for a non juicy bike?

my current bike has disk breaks - though they are cable breaks - the cable keeps slipping and the pads are not self levelling so they need frequently adjusting. I want to change to Hydraulic breaks and asked the bike shop near my office to quote me for supplying/fitting, the brakes they recommended are Clarks M2 MTB Disk brakes, from looking these are they are well reviewed but extremely cheap considering the price of alternatives. has anyone used these? or does anyone have any others they would recommend? i want my breaks to be good, reliable with plenty of stopping power etc. though i am sure most things would be an improvement over the stock ones i currently use. Hi Captain Dan im a bit late to this conversation though thought i would add my thoughts, im age 32, 15 stone (though im trying to loose a bit honest!) and cycle 13 miles to and from work on an ebike I highly recommend it. plus its saving me £156 a month on my train ticket. meaning that for me after a year and a half the bike will have paid for itself. I go out in sun, heavy rain and most recently light snow :-) nothing stops me. As Juicy suggested above its worth going and giving different types of bikes a try, hub motors have a feeling of being pushed along where as crank motors feel more like your peddling, personally i like the hub but its worth checking both out. If your near Juicy go and try a bike, i had a Juicy Roller for a while and it was a lovely bike to ride, makes the hills nice and easy on full assistance and they have a good range. there are loads of bikes out there to choose from and plenty of ebike shops will let you take there bikes out for a little spin.

Thankyou Bob Yes I've just this second gotten the bike home. All seems ok and cycling made easy were very helpful. Rain is scheduled for every day next week so I'm going to be able to give it a good test.

That is why I bought my bike. the idea was that even though it was an expensive bike, using it daily it would pay for itself as I could save money compared with public transport. I guess maybe i expected too much when it came to going home in the rain.

When i searched for the ebike i wanted i asked the manufacturer "can i use the bike in all weather" they said yes. Not a problem. Then today we had some rain, so i thought it would be fine. I cycled carefully avoiding all puddles but after 0.6 of a mile my bike died. As you can guess I'm not a happy bunny. But i thought i would see what other people do with there bikes. Are you just fair weather riders? Or can your bike take on anything?

I cycle into central London every day for work which is why I'm asking. As during rush hour the traffic sinks. I wouldn't be asking if i was in the country side

can anyone recommend a pollution mask that is good and that allows you to breath properly? I have purchased 3 so far, 1 cheep one from ebay and 2 from amazon. I find they are either useless with glasses or i cant breath in them sufficiently when i am cycling. any recommendations gratefully received.
