  3. Hi all I would really appreciate some advice on how to reset to zero the trip/ distance from the display? I have tried every button combination but to no avail. Any suggestions would be apprecisted Thank you
  4. Hi Thanks but re the lcd is too small and will struggle to see it. I need one abt same size of the ones that come on the bafang middrive kits. Also would like a side operated throttle rather than push down as these are not comfortable so my question is . Can you remove these items from your kit and supply me with the items i need? I dont mind paying for the upgrade if this is required. Thanks
  5. Thank you very much for your reply

  7. Oh sorry the motor also needs to be able to accomodate a 9 gear cassette. Iam aware you only do 8. But i would need to be able to fit a 9 gear cassette as ive tried the crossfire with 9 gears and it was perfect in terms of gearing. Ive also tried an 8 gear bike and it wasnt gearing high enough for me. Thanks
  8. Hi Thank you once again for your advice. I understand it now and it makes perfect sense. I thought you meant over volt the 250 watt motor! in terms of torque or power you say that this motor is roughley 800 watt at the back wheel....so am i right in thinking that this geared motor at only 250 watt will only be about 20-25% less powerful than my 1000 watt non geared hub motor that does 30mph? Basically what am looking for is a lighter setup i dont need top speed of 30mph. Be nice to be able to go around 20 mph instead of the limit of 15mph as i dont want the motor to cut out if am going faster than 15mph. I also need a larger screen lcd screen( do u have upgrades) as my eyes are not great, 5 levels at least pas. Plus thumb throttle, a downtube battery pack with built in speed controller and would also need a prefebley a black motor along with a black rim 700c wheel to match my bike? Many thanks
  9. Hi thank you very much for your replies its much appreciated. I am a large chap of 18 stone. I do have a mtb with a 1000 watt rear hub motor, seperate speed controller and a 15ah lifepo4 battery. That i purchased from china about 8 years or more ago. Its very powerful and can take me anywhere, but its dead heavy. I also get dead lazy on this bike as it has no pedal assist and just use the trottle. So i want to sell this kit and buy a lighter kit. Like i said the carerra crossfire was great but on a moderate hill the motor bogged down and came to a stop. I understand what you are saying in terms of running the woosh 250 watt kit at 48 volts to increase wattage and torque etc and this seems a great compromise in terms of having a smaller motor but i am concerned that the motor or controller may burn out? Also wouldnt i just be better off with say a 500 watt geared motor and the same 48 volt battery to avoid over heating a 250 watt motor? Many thanks.
  10. Hi thanks for your reply But i didnt put 1500 watt motor. Its 1.500 watt motor 2. With 5 levels of pas 3. Large back light lcd etc etc. Sorry for confusion! Ive just looked at that but its only 250 watt??
  11. Hi could anyone recommend an ebike kit to include the following please to fit on my 700c hybrid bike. 1.500 watt geared rear hub motor that will take at least 8 or 9 cassette. 2. At least 5 levels of pas. 3. Large backlight lcd screen. 4. Must be able to use a throttle at the same time as pas mode...to give an extra boost whilst pulling off. 5 ideally would prefer built in speed controller. I have tried a carrera crossfire from halfords. It was 75 % perfect for me and was impressed at how the 250 watt motor performed. However it got really bogged down on moderate hills and over grass and no throttle so pulling off at junctions was dangerous for me. Iam a big chap so would prefer a bit more power as i think i would burn out a 250 watt motor. Many thanks

  13. Hi all I would really appreciate some advice please. Was thinking about buying a bafang midrive kit to install onto my hybrid bike and would love to hear from someone who has one to hear an honest review of it. Iam considering the 500-750 watt range models for off road use mainly. Apart from the obvious questions regarding relyability i want to know-1. Can the trottle be used whilst in pas mode at the same time for a quick boost like pulling off from a junction etc? Or do you have to switch off pas then use throttle then turn pas back on? 2. In pas mode is there a big lag before the motor kicks in from a stop or stanstill? And if so is there anything that can be done to reduce the lag? 3. Ive read that you can not change gears whilst the motor is running? Is this true? As i dont understand this as how is this possible in pas mode? And i would like to ride like a normal bike not stop start. Lastly...i have demo a carrera crossfire e bike 250 watt rear geared hob pas version. It was 75% perfect for me. The only downside was 1. I feel i need a throttle as well that can be used to overide the pas for pulling off. 2. The motor really struggled up a steep hill...iam a big chap and need a little bit more assistance and also riding on grass the motor really bogged down. If anyone knows of a small rear hub motor kit that would suit the requirements above plse let me know. Many thanks
  14. Hi all. Thank you for reading my post. I would like some advise on a bafang midrive kit plse. Iam not sure on which kit to buy? Can anyone plse direct me to the appropriate part of this site please Thank you
