Lekkie 42T Bling Ring for BBS 01/02 £50
Hi, This was fitted in November 2016 after about 40 miles of using the stock Bafang chainring (think it was a 46T) on my BBS02 kit and stayed there right up until when I removed the whole kit off my first electric bike at 220 miles, so it's done 180 miles and hasn't missed a beat. My chain never came off ever during that 180 miles of use (unlike stock which was all the time!) and except some marks where the chain was mated on the teeth, it's in great condition. Unfortunately I had to replace it with a 36T as this didn't fit my new project bike due to the short chain-stay angles. The smaller 36T more closely matched the single chainring setup of my new bike anyway which came stock with a 32T... I remembered that I had this after looking through my parts bin after the latest conversion. This is probably the best upgrade you could buy for the BBS 01/02. They're about £70 now from Brighton E Bikes which is where I bought it from (and the 36T! :0D) so I think £50 is fair including postage and fees if you decide to pay by PayPal. Cash and local pickup is fine if you are close by. I live in Stalybridge SK15 area. Below are some pics. This first one is on my GIANT XTC just before I removed it. The second is when I test fitted it to my NORCO Torrent. Any questions post here or you can private message me. Thanks, Simon.

Dolphin Pack 48v 12Ah Samsung 30Q only 220miles / 10 full cycles - £250
Hi peeps, I'm currently swapping my e-bike kit over to a different frame and this pack doesn't fit the new triangle, so it's up for sale. The battery has been married to a BBS02 750W. The motor has done just 220 miles since September last year. The battery has received about 10 full charge cycles - don't let that calculation fool you - I'm 18 stone and go up seriously vertical climbs. On the flat you can get 35+ miles on 50% assist no problem. It was purchased from Eclipse Bikes in July 2016 and has never let me down. When performing some maintenance I removed the mounting bracket. Upon refitting, one of the lugs that hold the tie wrap on the downtube snapped. Thankfully customer services at Eclipse is excellent and they have replaced this with a new one for the cost of postage. The spec is 48v, 12Ah and uses Samsung 30Q cells. Here's the link. I ride off-road on canal tow paths, bridle paths and moorland so it has its fair share of fine scratches but is 100% working as it should. The battery has a few scrapes underneath where dirt has got into the channel that mounts to the frame bracket, but is again perfectly fine. Similarly the used bracket has quite a few scores on it, and the new replacement is a bonus. The custom Giant sticker on the side of the battery can be removed without residue as its sign vinyl. Comes complete with dedicated charger supplied originally. I'm looking for £250 and would prefer cash pickup/meetup in the Manchester area. If you want postage, it will need to be courier due to the lithium contents and can be arranged accordingly. Buyer pays fees if paying by Paypal. Can probably get around the Royal Mail prohibition due to the batteries being encased and technically "connected to a device" (the BMS and USB charge output!), but would rather not chance it. Some pics to show condition and my new steed too!

Hello all!
Hi peeps! I've been a lurker for a while and have benefitted from much of the contents and articles on this site/forum, which went a long way to me deciding to purchase a BBS02 kit from Eclipse nearly a year ago. Thought it was about time to share! After doing a bit of non-pedal assisted biking on a friend of mine's 2006 Giant XTC SX during a holiday in Wales last year, I subsequently bought it off him and fitted the kit to it. This allowed me to be far more adventurous doing mostly local bridleways, moorland and quite a bit of steep technical rock paths nearby to where I live. At just over 40, being quite overweight (18st) and with a lower back injury, e-biking has really helped me get out and get fitter but removes the worry of getting stuck in the middle of nowhere! I've clocked up nearly 250 miles in 9 months and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon! Getting a 42T Lekkie Bling Ring from Brighton eBikes helped with uphill struggles quite significantly! I think I'm ready for something different to the Giant now, so I've just bought a newer bike: A Norco Torrent 7.2 2016 (27.5+ size) that I aim to swap the kit onto soon. Unfortunately the Dolphin pack I bought to go in the Giant frame is too big so looking to get a pack made up from somewhere (already in talks with some frequent users on here e.g. Jimmy @ BGA). Look out for that Dolphin pack in the classifieds soon! I've put some pics on here to hopefully show some of the stuff you can accomplish with a bit of courage (or maybe stupidity!?) and a self-fit e-bike kit!
