  1. I think tubeless are great, I had an off yesterday, I think I caught the sidewall (there was a hole in it) and the tyre lost pressure quickly causing me to crash!!! That or the tyre tore as I crashed! Anyway I highly recommend that along with tubeless you also get a dynaplug tool. Two inserts were needed, air was seeping from the rim but after repairing the sidewall damage a bit of pressure and a quick ride then sealed that Dynaplug and tubeless are amazing, save a very expensive tyre.
  2. Hi Chris, Yes it is superb, really like the new countdown run that joins launchpad. We are doing the wild boar chase this weekend The rain should help settle the trails a bit to.
  3. Totally, very simply I'm enjoying biking again, sounds like you are to I hope many many more find ebikes and do the same. If you are on a normal one and happy stay there
  4. Ignore the cheating cmments, you are out longer, I bet you are happier. I am much slower than my mates, I just keep with them and enjoy it. They have tried my bike and think it's great. They will get one when they need to. Let the people who moan continue, keep smiling
  5. Ah, should have been Like you I purchased mine to keep 'my heart rate down and keep' up with my mates, they are on normal bikes.
  6. Ah should say I was not going very hard. Like you I purchased mine to keep up with my mates, they are on normal bikes. I'm out for over 4 hours now compared to less than 2 previously. Hoping to get fitter, use less assistance. Even now I'm very careful to use as little as I can but if needed use it to help
  7. That looks amazing Nice bike, I have a non electric cube and tried the electric version. It convinced me to by an e-montainbike I'm sold on them, I was in the forest at the weekend. We decide to go straight up to a fireroad. The non e-bike guys carried theirs up 30m I took a look, put it in turbo and just rode straight up! Amazing, I keep the power down and my heart rate 125 -145 Feel great, stay out longer and smile more. Would love to try those trails
  8. Hi, I'm Glen, new to ebiking but not to biking I have a Scott e-genius 700 tuned plus Had a great day out in FOD, really loving it.
  9. Well today I took my new ebike out in the FOD. I was out for 4 1/2 hours. I'm usually done after 1 1/2 to 2 max. Enjoyed every minute, I stayed up with my group, not something I usually do. They did not have to wait (they usually do). We go twice a week and now I feel much happier. I now feel safer on the downhill as I'm in a much better position to attack it so much more. I progressively used the assistance and we had a break after 3 hours, I still had over 60% battery left. I don't agree about the FOD being that busy, verderers was great as always. Lots of people enjoying themselves and very few being stupid. My group, 8 of us all had a great day. A couple stopped after 3 hours, I continued. I would not have made it that far on my non ebike. I would have finished after 2 hours. My heart rate stayed in a much better zone and I think I benefited much more by riding my ebike over my other bike. Being able to stay out and really enjoy my biking has made me really happy. I am tired, I feel I have had a much harder time on the upper body! I was using all assistance I could towards the end, but ebikes have transformed my riding. I was at the point of almost giving up. Or at least riding less and probably not going with my mates as much as I was slowing them up. Now I'm happy I think they are to...
