  1. Dear All, Has anybody ridden any of these two bikes? Orbea Gain F40 2019 and/or Kalkhoff Berleen Advance G10 2018 Both of them looks great, but would be curious what pedelecers think about them. Thanks, Balazs
  2. Dear Pedelecers, has any of you know anything about the Kalkhoff Durban Move G8 2018 Men's Electric Bike? Is it any good? https://www.edinburghbicycle.com/kalkhoff-durban-move-g8-2018-mens-electric-bike.html Thanks a lot, Balazs
  3. Dear All, I am 50 year old 6ft, 14 stone reasonably fit male, riding a unassisted Giant CRS in Edinburgh. In the last few month I have been thinking of buying a pedelec, which would make more enjoyable ccyling in the hilly Edinburgh. My ride is downhill to work and uphill home, approx 3-4 miles, depending on the route I take. Some part of the ride is through forest path, with roots, some on graveled path, some on road. I am looking for a pedelec with 700 c wheels max £1000 (cycle to work scheme). I I have been looking at the Kudos Alamo ( looks great , but impossible to find a thorough review on it), the carrera crossfire ( looks good, but heavy and engine cut off issues) and the emu ( weak battery?). I would appreciate if any of you could share thoughts about the ebikes above ( or recommend another one?) Thanks a lot, Balazs
  4. Hi there, I am thinking of buying a kudos stealth and was wondering if you are happy with your purchase? Thanks a lot, Balazs
  5. Hi Pedelecers, is there anybody who owns/ ridden an Kudos Alamo/Stealth? I live in Edinburgh, and thinking of buying the Stealth. Thanks a lot,
  6. Hi all from the sunny Edinburgh, after few weeks of stalking the Pedelecs forums I have decided to join. I live in Scotland, commute to work on a 2005 Giant CRX. My Home2Work commute is a fun 3.8 K downhill ride (takes about 9-10 mins), half of this ride is on footpath and the other half is on road. Going home is 5.8K ( different route, all on road), which takes about 21-24 mins depending wind, etc. I am thinking of buying a pedelec, which can carry a 183 cm, 92kg reasonably fit 50 year old man up on longish slopes. I would appreciate any recommendation from the members, I have been looking at the Karoo, the Alamo and the Momentum upstart. Thanks a lot, B
