This is a Juicy Heath Classic Electric Bike, purchased new in July 2017 at a cost of £1185.00, (Proof of Purchase available) having paid £100 for a upgraded battery providing 30 miles cover. Additional extras purchased and included in the selling price was a set of Panniers with waterproof Cover (£60) also a Bike Hut D Lock Silver Sold Secure approval. (Can be viewed oh Halfords website). You can have my Helmet if it fits. Lights are fitted as standard and I have 2 Handlebar Mirrors. The bike was purchased with all good intentions but for various reasons has received little use; I would say around 70 miles. In October 2017 I had it serviced by the sellers and since then have used it once. There is a very comfortable Gel seat cover fitted. Like the lock it comes with 2 sets of Keys and charging system. It is a step through frame, I am 5011 and my Wife is 505 tall and both of us could ride it. The only marks as best as I can say are where the Battery fits on the frame. I am interested in purchasing a used Juicy Classic for my Wife. I have seen one the seller states is about 2 years old. I asked about the throttle assist which would be a must at our age but the seller states it does not have this but states the bike is not restricted like the new Models. Does anybody know when throttle Assist was first fitted thanks.

The one I looked at now stands at over £500 becomes a very expensive Bike if Battery fails.

Is that because you had to or a design fault etc.

I am looking for a second EBike for our holidays and have the option to bid on one as above looks in nice condition. I then looked at the price of replacent batteries 800+ Euro.The seller states the battery charged back up to 100% but to me that means nothing it would be more important how quick it lost the charge. I know its a million dollar question but should i steer away from a bike of this age the battery is 17amp and I would not pay more than £400 if that helps.

Bob Collected my Bike yesterday from your premises was met by Sarah who yet again went that extra mile with customer service. Bike ready one day before delivery date and a big thanks for the Panniers. Have only mamaged a ride up the bank outside our house but got to say really pleased and will complete a full review when i return from holiday.

Visited yesterday purchased a Heath Classic Bike on display and available for test so simple.

I like the Juicy and perhaps it was just my bad luck or picked the wrong day. I travelled 12 miles to Buxton to view/Test only to be met with the Assistant telling me she knows nothing about Bikes. ( I have since been informed she was a Temp) She then told me to go to the New Mills shop assuring me it was open, (another 18 miles return) when it was closed. Do like the bike though.
