Oxygen S-Cross Countless Puncture Help
I have had my Oxygen bike about 3 years now and although I love it it has spent quite a bit of time off the road due to punctures in the rear tyre. I can't change them myself and the bike is too big and heavy for me to get it in my car to get it to a dealer, if I push it to my nearest shop it buggers up the tyre (done that once already). A couple of times when it has happened the place I bought it from came and picked it up for me in their van and fixed it but recently I phoned them and they said there were too busy! I don't know what to do, it seems to me very impractical, have I just been unlucky? They seem to have good tyres on them, I do hardly any mileage and yet I get puncture after puncture and no one seems to have found any fault with the wheel. Has this been anyone elses experience? Is it worth getting a solid tyre? Are there any other options? Thanks

Oxygen Scross MTB ongoing review
Hiya, well I left it to my old man who is quite handy and he seemed to manage it o.k. and I am very pleased with them, much more comfortable!

Ouch thats a shame, the handlebars are wide enough, don't want them any wider. Could they be trimmed to fit do you think? I will have a look at them when they arrive and if not they can go back! Drat!

Hiya, Thanks for this, was getting a really sore wrist ( its full of metalwork already thanks to a run in with tram tracks!) with the original grips. Have ordered these, hope they do the trick!

Hello from hilly Sheffield
Thank you will do, I have also got a fob for the cycle hub at the train station, and will definitely get it insured!

Hello from hilly Sheffield
Hiya, my name is Vanda and tomorrow I will be taking delivery of my first ebike. It is an Oxygen S-Cross ST from the South Yorkshire Electric Bike Company. I am very excited about it. I started cycling in Sheffield five years ago mostly for commuting, I have never been a cycle fanatic but it's growing on me. My car died a couple of weeks ago and I decided that I really didn't want another one but that I would struggle in hilly Sheffield with just my road bike, especially getting to meetings for work. So hopefully this will fit the bill. The first task tomorrow will be how it tackles the long and tough hill from work up to the pub at 4.30! I am hoping that this bike will make me want to cycle more and be enthusiastic about cycling just for the fun of it! We shall see ............
