  1. Hi Does anyone know what pads the Wisper 705 24" uses. They are slightly smaller than the Tektro pads on other models. TIA
  2. According to Wisper Support a locking ring is missing. I have about 3mm of play. The bearing have what appears to be small steal filings on them.
  3. No issue with that. It is a headset I need.
  4. Has anyone changed the headset on a Wisper Wayfarer. If so, what was the make and model of the new part? Thanks.
  5. The throttle does not do much. I thought it was only effective on hub drive. I went into the settings on the LCD and 15.5 mph is the max it will go to.
  6. Thanks. I was hoping to increase max speed a little like you can on other models.
  7. Does anyone know how to increase the max speed? By law the motor cuts out st 15.5 mph. This is very frustrating. It feels like a brake coming on. This slows me down to around 12 moh. I then have to use more effort to get vsck to 16.5 mph. Obviously I wouldn't go more than 15.5 mph on a public road. Ideally I'd like the assistance to go up to around 18 mph.
  8. Update. Unable to find loose wire. If I twist the throttle I can hear clicking from the controller.
  9. Morning all. My Wisper 905 Torque stopped working on a ride yesterday. The display comes on, the lights work, the thumb control changes the assist setting but nothing happens. I'm hoping its a loose wire as on holiday and need bike.
  10. Morning all. My Wisper 905 Torque stopped working on a ride yesterday. The display comes on, the lights work, the thumb control changes the assist setting but nothing happens. I'm hoping its a loose as on ho,iday and need bike.
  11. Wisper did not respond to my email which is understandable at the.moment. Fortunately I managed to get a chain and new derailleur off Amazon. I found a lile for like derailleur. The new chain is an SRAM PC EX1. It was about 8 links longer than the original so I just cut to size.
  12. Thanks. I've emailed Wisper to see what chain they recommend but no reply yet.
  13. Thanks. I'll leave it on charge for longer.
  14. Has anyone replaced the chain on a Torwue 905? I got a SRAM off Amaxon but it is approx 7cm shorter than the original.
  15. The last green light on the battery keeps flashing even though the light on the charger has turned green over an hour ago.
  16. When I charge my 575 battery a red light shows on the charger. After about 8 hours the red light goes green. That seems normal but, one of the green lights is still flashing on the battery. Is that normal? I would expect it to go solid green when fully charged.
  17. Has anyone replaced the display on a Wisper torque? The existing one is identical to a Bafang C961. If you get one of these off Ebay it has a female plug whereas the Wisper has a Male plug. I'm looking for a compatible display with a colour screen.
  18. Has anyone had issues with the 905 Torque? I get error codes 7 and 30 after hills (even minor ones). When the code comes up I have to shut everything down for a few minutes. It will them work but the motor pulses as I turn the peddles. I then shut down for maybe 10 minutes then all is fine until the next incline.
  19. Thanks. I'll look at some of them.

  21. Does anyone use Rixen and Kaul fittings on a Wisper. I want to make sure they fit secure before buying. Thanks.
