Be great if Tesla made an e-bike
I've driven a model X and it was fantastic. We our on our second Nissan Leaf now and we have a an Outlander Phev too, so well used to electric motoring, but the Tesla is in another league.

Bosch - New eMtb mode
We're picking up our bike tomorrow (well if we try it and like it which I suspect we will) - it has a Bosch Drive Unit Performance CX (75Nm) Cruise (250Watt) according to the specs - is this likely to be already on our bike - if not - will it take them long to do as it is quite a journey for us to the shop for us to take it back. We are getting the CUBE Reaction Hybrid HPA Race 500 Blue Red E Mountain Bike https://www.cube.eu/en/2017/e-bike-hardtail/reaction-hybrid/cube-reaction-hybrid-hpa-race-500-bluenflashred-2017/

Hi from the North East
oops - just put a refundable deposit down on one! Meets all hubby's criteria and it's a nice colour for me :] It's in Infinity Cycles in Durham, they only had one left in our size, so put the deposit down which we can get back if it doesn't suit us. http://www.durham.cubebikestore.eu/1366/products/cube-reaction-hybrid-hpa-race-500-blue-red-e-mountain-bike.aspx

Hi from the North East
We're in Teesside, but we are planning on heading up to Evans in Durham to have a look there, so will be calling in a few other places as well.

Dual purpose bike needed
We have been considering getting an e-bike for a year or so, but have only started looking seriously in the last couple of weeks but would like to get one pretty soon. I could do with one to increase my fitness following illness and to be able to keep up with hubby who is a keen cyclist (can easily do 50 miles in one go). We live at the top of a hillside, so going out is ok but coming back is a no-go for me at the moment! Hubby would like to use it for playing on the trails and riding in the woods/hills nearby. We are both 5'10" with similar inside leg and can ride the same bikes so no issue there. We have a budget of around £2500 and have looked at Trek, Cube and Specialised in more detail. Not so keen on the Specialised as it doesn't have a control/display on the handlebars. https://www.cube.eu/uk/2017/e-bike-hardtail/reaction-hybrid/cube-reaction-hybrid-hpa-sl-500-rednflashorange-2017/ https://www.evanscycles.com/trek-powerfly-7-2017-electric-mountain-bike-EV282563 https://www.evanscycles.com/specialized-turbo-levo-ht-29-2017-electric-mountain-bike-EV278027 Does anyone have experience with any of these? Appreciate any help.

Hi from the North East
Hi we are from the north east as well - are you north or south of the region? Have you found any retailers particularly helpful?

Hi from the North East
We have decided that we 'need' an e-bike. I have a few medical issues and need to build my fitness up and be able to keep up with hubby while cycling - hubby wants a new toy. Rode them on a trail in Rutland last year and really enjoyed it. (Couple of unintended dismounts but it was fun!) Looking forward to picking your brains for which bike we should go for.
