  1. I've managed to alter the saddle angle so I'll see if that helps, and once I work out how the handlebars work I'll fiddle with them. I'm not in as much pain as my husband who is trying to keep up on a non e-bike!
  2. Thanks! The bike shop e-mailed me back to say the softest spring was in it so I opened the other end and turned the dial thing hopefully to make it softer. I can't yet tell if it is, as my derriere still hurts from my over-ambitious 50 mile round trip to Edinburgh on Friday!
  3. I'm not sure! I'm going to have a look tomorrow in daylight as I have just found a diagram of it. I had hoped the wrong spring was in as it didn't seem to move at all but my husband just tried and it did move a bit. https://www.ergotec.de/files/Produkte/W1110000_ergotec_Federsattelstütze_PM%20705N.pdf
  4. Just found some instructions online under ergotec!
  5. Can anyone help me with how this works? I find it hard to believe it is a suspension post it is so uncomfortable, and I managed to leave the leaflet about it in the shop. Where is the spring supposed to be? I have 2 spare springs (green and silver) and there is nothing in rubber bulb thing- should the spring be there? Is there a way to make it more comfortable?!
  6. Oops I meant to write on that post! Cycled in pouring rain to Hailes Castle and back. It's great not to worry about what route (hills) - great fun!
  7. Hopefully it won't be one of it in bits on the floor of the Virgin East Coast bike carriage!
  8. On my way home with an R&M Charger Mixte. Virgin have hung it up by its front wheel- hope it survives!
  9. Hi I've been following the forum for a short while and found the info very helpful - so thanks! I enjoy riding my old bike but really hate going up hills. Suffering a bit from painful knees and hips after cycling now so feel a pedelec could be just the thing!
