  1. hi, selling my black Freego Eagle. Has stand, pillion bags. No marks, it’s in VGC Needs a new battery or re calling which I was going to do but decided to get another bike as want an emtb. Any questions please ask.
  2. Thanks, I think I spoke to you the other day on your site. Do you think that’s the best bike to go for on price? I’ve seen a kudos mistral that looks a good bike but my knowledge is very limited. I’m just waiting for my e voucher? To come through and would be willing to put a bit to if it’s the best thing to do although I like the look of the Eiger.
  3. Thanks, all good to know. I’m a total novice off road. Have an ebike but apart from front shocks it’s no emtb . I’d rather take the advice and put the extra to that I need. I only want entry level that will do the job while I find my feet but there’s no point getting something that’s not up to the job either is there ? Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
  4. I’m thinking of getting a second ebike on cyclescheme. Is it possible to get a decent emtb around the £1000 mark and if so where from? Don’t mind adding a bit more but not too much.
  5. Thanks, I spoke to him earlier today, he was very knowledgable and helpful. Quoted £240 to re cell the battery but with better batteries that should have 3000 cycles. If I heard him right he was on about Boston batteries which I’ve not heard of?? Does that sound right?
  6. Hi, I have a freego eagle bike that’s two and a half yes old. It has a 36v 10ah battery. The battery is showing as being fully charged but loses power as soon as I start to use it. I’ve been advised by freego that some of the cells have gone and I need a new battery. Do I buy a new battery or try to get it re celled? I live in South Yorkshire if anyone knows a place I can take it. I’ve googled and rang around but not had any joy. Any ideas ??
  7. Thanks I’ll give them a ring. The batteries are quite cheap but the postage and tax costs as much or more !! It would make it about £165 which I can get one from eBay for roughly that. If I was more technical I’d have a go at repairing it myself as I’ve been advised it’s probably only a few of the cells that have gone. It’s charging up but not holding power. I don’t want to replace it if I can refurb it.
  8. Hi, I need to replace my battery on my freego eagle. The best price I’ve seen is on Alibaba.com. Has anyone bought from here and are they any good?
