Lights for Bafang BBS01 250W 36V kit
I have a set of these on my bike, I can’t understand how they can sell them so cheap, they come with a battery pack made up of 4 18650 batteries, even cheapo ones would be around a tenner for 4, (I pay around £5 each for the Samsung ones in my vape) these have had to be made into a battery pack, and come with a charger, and a twin Cree led light, for £10.83 including post http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Waterproof-5000-Lumen-2x-CREE-XML-U2-LED-Cycling-Bicycle-Bike-Light-MR/183039185204?hash=item2a9dfc5134:g:g2oAAOSw9tJabDYb

Badass Box v3.4
This one look better than the halfrauds one, is cheaper, and wireless. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JUNSD-JS-213-Wireless-Cycle-Computer-Slim-Design-Flexible-Fitting-NEW/120632987141?epid=1508888811&hash=item1c16494e05:g:FkEAAOSwAL9UdKGJ

Badass Box v3.4
They're cheap as chips so worth a shot, I'll chuck it on one of the kids bikes if it doesn't work.

Badass Box v3.4
I can get one like that off eBay for about £2.50. Why wouldn't a wireless one work? I hate wires

Badass Box v3.4
I don't need to look at what mode I'm in I only use one mode, it's been on turbo since I got it I haven't even tried the other modes yet. I'm not fussed about data just like seeing how fast I'm going, I guess I could get a cheap basic fixed speedo.

Badass Box v3.4
Just read the small print on the speedbox and apparently it only shows kph accurately not mph, so I'll stick with the badass for now and wait until something better comes along.

Badass Box v3.4
So I fitted the badass box to my bike, but no matter where I place the magnet the speedo always changes/drops at 10.1mph, isn't it supposed to get to 15.5mph before it drops and shows half the true speed? Also the speedo never gives the same reading as the GPS speedo on my phone, I'm getting sick of messing with it and seriously thinking of ditching it and getting the speedbox 2 instead, that one shows the true MPH at any speed.

Bosch Battery Rattle
Job done thank you, no more rattling!

Bosch Battery Rattle
My battery has an annoying rattle when going over bumpy ground, I've looked and can't find any way to adjust/tighten up the lock, I noticed there's a little rubber pad on one side of the lock, should there be one on the other side too?

Hello from Gloucester!
P.s I found a guy selling one on Facebook when I was looking, it’s a 2017 Pro 500 in grey with red bits, he said he bought it on a whim and he’s only ridden it a handful of times. He’s based in Hereford and he wants £1200 for it, I have a contact number for him if anyone wants it PM me.

Hello from Gloucester!
Or do what I did and get a used one, my 7 month old Cube Reaction Race 500 cost me £1000 off a guy on eBay.

I know what you’re saying but I just thought comfort > looks. I did a load of research online and most were saying padded ones aren’t necessarily more comfortable as you sink into them and then you’re sitting on plastic, and the suspended leather on a Brooks is better, plus the springs should help a bit too, and I need a wide seat as although I don’t have a big arse I have quite a wide arse bone measurement. I bought it cheap off eBay anyway so if I can’t live with the looks I can always sell it and get my money back.

Do you let friends have a go?
I've offered a couple of mates a go on mine but both declined, not sure if they were afraid of the tech or afraid they’d like it and want one.

Wallet busting Cube
I guess that's the payoff for being so stealthy.

She had one go on the 1000w DIY I mentioned in the op, and that scared the crap out of her so she's a little put off, I need to get her to try the Cube on eco mode and see that it's a totally different ride. She did say she wants to come out with me and she'll ride my old analog Rock Hopper I have in the shed, she's pretty fit but I still think she's going to have a shock when she finds riding uphill isn't as easy as it was the last time she rode a bike many years ago.

I'm happy with my basic bike for now, and hope it stays that way I can't afford anything better, it's more than good enough for what I want it for.

I paid £1k for the entire bike

How much? The wheels that came with the bike feel light as a feather to me anyway.

I can't help myself I'm a speed freak, I haven't even tried any other mode yet, and I have a dongle on the way too so the battery life will be even worse. I'll probably get a 2nd battery when funds allow.

Wanted - Bosch de-restricting box
I got the bike up to 28/9mph today downhill and was pretty much spun out by then, so that’s great advice thanks.
