I have the PCS-10, excellent well engineered solid piece of kit. Did have a butchers (not tested) at the Aldi stand and that seemed flimsy in comparison. Maybe the Aldi stand would suffice but wasn't prepared to take a risk with a £3.5K full sus. The PCS comes with a lifetime warranty but no extras. If you want a tool tray or a bog roll holder be prepared to shell the £££. IMO the tray is a waste of money, not that I’m complaining as my PCS was a present. Bikes over 3 years paid out at market value. Policy facts\docs can be viewed on their website to see if the cover suits. This is NOT a recommendation because I have never used them. Like you I’m looking at taking out liability insurance after a recent incident but due to other commitments I haven't got far with my research.

Hi Motopa. The battery does not arrive fully charged. The recommended storage charge is 1 to 2 lights ie 25% to 50%. The battery on my partners bike purchased end of 2017 starts with UI10200xxxxxx. There is a service manual available for the Yamaha X94. It contains instructions on how to determine the charge capacity of the battery. When shipped it should be 100%, this will decrease over time with use so may indicate the battery is old\used.

The latest version of the Yamaha PW-X now supports cadence rates of up to 120. Unlike the Yamaha, the Bosch motor is internally geared which means once you reach the cut off point its harder to pedal on your own steam.
