65rpm-does that means 65 revolutions of the pedals? As that seems quite slow. What does changing the sprocket do? When I watch the video of prestegne on youtube the Kalkhoffs on there seem to be being pedalled alot faster than 65rpm.

I think that a disc brake would be overkill on a commuter to be honest. The extra weight incurred would put me off one.

How about getting an angle grinder to the bolt flats once you fitted them, no one can remove them then. You're buggered if you need to remove it though.
