OK now know what it was there is a big manhole cover on corner, never noticed before

About 14mph camera makes me look to be going faster, tried all different setting always look to be going fater

Going to work this morning came off my Cube Reaction Pro Hybrid on a corner backend just went away from me. Grazed hip banged shpulder and elbow. No damage to bike though apart from grazed derailer Either oil or slimy road with salt. See it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF4Ir4ozDfk

Someone I work with has a specialized and he altered the speed with an app, altered size of wheel via app/bluetooth

I ride 8 miles to work most of it uphill. Some quite steep. I wear a big yellow builders jacket in the winter and never break a sweat. I have a Cube Reaction Pro Hybrid 500 - 29" wheels Bosch Drive Unit Performance CX (75Nm) Cruise (250Watt) The 75Nm maybe the difference to what you have tested.

looking at the video I can see where you are coming from with your comments. Is the CX Performance the same setup

It was something to do with the bolts being cross threaded by factory on build, they couldnt get them out. Cube replaced the frame and motor under warranty so must have been a genuine reason otherwise I dont think they would have.

Not planning on getting one anytime soon. I have had alot of problems with the bike had a new frame and motor fitted due to bearings going, they couldnt get the motor out so had to replace frame aswell. Seems OK so far but dont want to make warranty void by altering/adding anything. The bike is the green Cube Reaction Pro Hybrid 500 had it around 6 months.

Did a search for these after your answers. I think they could damage motor and sprockets also i think the battery would run down pretty quick.

Can you get full power Cube bikes? When I was riding up hill last week a cube passed me as though I was stood still I was doing 16 mph

I ended up buying a waterproof cycling jacket from Aldi and just use a sweatshirt under it. thanks for all your answers

Thanks for all the answers. I think I want something like the berghaus But I will check all your answers out. Trouser where mentioned I use regatta trousers in a bag at a tenner they are great and last a year so I think value for money. And I needed them today it threw it down on way home.

I commute every day on my Cube Reaction in all weathers. When its bad weather I just use a big yellow hi-vis jacket like builders use. But it is big and bulky. What waterproof jacket do you use that is also warm.

My bike Cube Reaction Pro is in the shop at the moment, bearing went after riding in a very heavy downpour. I had to force the crank next morning to get it to turn. Then it sounded like it was grinding. But it gets better, they could not get the bolts out to remove the motor due to them cross threading them at the factory. So I am now getting a new motor and frame. 5 weeks now nearly. The have lent me a bike while they fix it. I commute on my bike every day in all weathers. I hope this is not going to happen regular.

Hi Just a quick update. Had my bike back 2 weeks tomorrow everything seems to be working has it should no multiple power surges. So everything crossed its fixed

Maybe I will suggest this to them if the problem continues

OK got my bike back yesterday, they have fitted a new speed sensor seemed OK coming home but I will find out on Monday when I go to work I have a 3 mile big hill to go up that is the main place I was getting the problem. Fingers crossed. They said they have tried to get the problem to happen to them but it didn't so really they do not know if its fixed. If its not I don't know what to do I have had it 6 weeks and they have had it for 50% of that time and at £2200 its alot of money for a bike they have as much as me.

Hi All I live in Addingham WestYorkshire. Been riding electrics for 6 years. My first ebike was an Ebco 2nd a Volt AlpineX current bike is a Cube Reaction Pro 500. Only use my bike for commuting 14 mile trip hopefully will be on here alot

6 weeks ago I bought a Cube Reaction Pro 500 with Bosch CX Performance motor. Out of that six weeks the bike shop has had it for the last 3 of them. My problem is with power surges, when I am riding it I will get a small surge of power and the bike goes to 16 mph. This happened occasionally at first but when I decided to take it back it was doing it more frequent for instance 8 times in 300 yards. After they run diagnostics on it they said the battery was short circuiting and they replaced the battery. I collected the bike on Wednesday rode it home and road it to work next day. They exact same thing happened while going uphill several times in a few yards. Phoned today and it doesn't look like they have done anything yet. Still waiting for the phone call back they said I would get on the update status. While they have had the bike I have been using a Cube Reaction SL demo bike they gave me and it does not give me the same problem riding the same route which if was a normal thing I would think it would. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be. I know you will get a power surge when you increase pressure on the pedals but its happening just cruising.
