  1. Not Required Now Have Bought... Wanted Garmin ETrex with preloaded 1:50 maps
  2. looking to buy a secondhand 400wh or 500wh for a Haibike Hardnine which has a Yamaha motor.
  3. Just collected my bike and first ride this morning. Fantastic 30 Miles cross country. Even got some mud on frame Used Mainly on mid power and tried to maintain 15 speed and noticed the power useage dropped to 2bar. Looking for bike gps with OS maps. Can anyone suggest a good gps please ? John
  4. I will do that and let people know that I find out. Thanks for that infon
  5. Yes I too have cycled around kings park. But didn’t risk a bike descent down Jacobs Ladder lol Funny you should mention looking locally because I have just been doing that. But as you know Perth WA is expensive for everything and there is little choice on ebikes
  6. I am heading for Perth WA. Once I get my bike and hopefully battery there it can stay as I am going every year
  7. Another option is to send battery on air cargo. I think this is still available?
  8. Take bike minus battery with me on plane. Send battery via sea in advance. Spending 6 months in Australia
  9. let me start by stating my understanding of taking am ebike abroad from the Uk If flying abroad one can take the bike but not the battery. This includes both cabin and hold for the battery. If some distance such as Australia then land route is out the question and sending by sea in advance is an option (I think!) ?
  10. i am new to ebikes. I have had a bike all my 69 years. My daughters and grandchildren all cycle. I do charity rides occasionally managing 100 miles albeit over 8 hours I have just bought a Haibike HardNine RC. It’s for rural Norfolk. Tracks and wooded area. Had a new hip so this will be used for rehab. I know I sound like a spent force with age and new hip but I don’t mean it to sound so. I think the ebike is just another way to enjoy cycling. To get me out into the beautiful English countryside and cover some distance. John
