  1. Ok. Think I'm going to go with the tsdz8 250 kit and just use my original 48v battery. I'm assuming Woosh bike UK is the place to get one?
  2. Hi . I am looking at replacing with a 250w bafang as the bike is already set up for it. I was hoping that maybe a 250w bafang with a controller for the 48v battery would be a simple swap.
  3. Hi all. Looking to replace my 750w motor with a UK legal 250v but am wondering how much of my existing kit I can use especially the battery so need someone I can get technical advice as well as the motor. Any recommendations please.
  4. I had a Vulcan for a few years. Had a few problems with it that was sorted. On the last time i got my old analog mtb out and haven't looked back. When you get reasonably bike fit u realised how limiting a ebike is regarding mileage.
  5. Hi all. I’m starting to think about building my own E bike. Probably a twin shock mountain bike but I’ve never striped a bike down so what should I look for in a donor bike dimension wise when looking for a kit. Are all hub kits the same size if I get the correct wheel dimensions also what do I look out for crank wise if looking for a mid frame kit are they all the same dimension and width?. Like I say I’m a complete newbie.
  6. Shop recommended occasionally spraying contact cleaner on the contacts of the screen and battery. Did a off road 25 mile ride mainly off road and all good apart from the chain coming off 5 times.
  7. Hi Nine . I got mine back a week ago. And haven't had time to use it much but if it cuts out one time while I'm ridding it it's going back and I will demand my money back. This bike can be very dangerous on the road.
  8. This is happening to the Vulcan model. Mine is not a month old and has cut out 6 or 7 times mostly when i come to a stop then start off again. But by far the worst was in two lanes of moving traffic when the motor turned off and it felt like it was still engaged as i could hardly peddle it to the side of the road. Its back at the shop.
  9. Well the bike is back at Halfords with cutting out issues.
  10. I've got there Vulcan model. For me I use a bike two ways. One just on cycle tracks and the other in woodlands and bridal ways. On Cycle tracks im over the 16mph limit 90% of the time and off road I find the rear drive makes it too clumsy so I will be doing a midframe conversion on a twin shock bike when I have the funds.
  11. Hi all. New to ebikes and after buying one from Halfords have already found I should have researched it a bit better. So in the future may be looking at building my own.
