  1. Hello Peter I totally understand , and hope that you find a buyer soon. All the best for 2021 Regards Ken
  2. Hi Peter....First of all can I say how sorry I am to hear of your illness, I remember my Aunt had it way back in the 70’s, I’m 79 myself so not too sprightly either .. Anyway I’ll get straight to the point...I’m in Spain and wondered if you wouldn’t mind posting it out , at my cost of course ? I realise that it won’t be to easy for you , but maybe you have someone who could help you ?
  3. Hi ....do you still have the bike ? Thank you
  4. Go onto the manufactures on here, and direct your message to David Miall at Wisper He’s been a great help to me and many other Wisper owners.
  5. Hi Steve and welcome, I’m a bit like you (the O/F part) but not the £75 ! If the motors ok and you can fit the ancillary wiring it’s got to be a bargain ! i paid £700 for mine off fleebay ...oops.... it’s a WISPER torque. Live in Spain now and enjoying it...Best of luck with your project buddy...oh and I’m enjoying a pint of Estrella ...or two !
  6. Hi....Newbie like you...but you’ll soon be riding round with that silly grin on your face...just like me..lol.... Welcome

  14. Hi all I’ve got a Wisper 905 Torque with standard 26 x 1.95 Kendra tyres. I would like something a little more substantial for muddy trails + canal paths, but also good for roads, and puncture resistant.Any suggestions ?
  15. Hi Keith I’ve had 3 ordinary bikes with front suspension and not a problem, especially off road ie mountain bikes. If your intentions are purely for road commuting then suspension really not necessary, and it keeps the cost down if buying new as well. Although watch out for potholes..lol Ken
  16. Hi Keith and welcome. I too am a relative newcomer to ebikes ,and I sympathize with your dilemma. I'm constructed a bit like you too ! I looked at the woosh bikes and just about every ebike out there but eventually decided on a WISPER 905 TORQUE.they where we'll out of my price range, but I found a used one on eBay.and with a lot help and advice from David of WISPER it's now up and running and I'm so glad I bought it. They are super bikes, quality parts.ie Samsung batteries.s/s nuts and bolts, Suntour suspension forks, etc etc, and great backup from Whisper ebikes. Whatever you choose all the best in your quest...it works for me !..Ken
  17. Hi and Welcome If you’re buying from a Wisper retailer then they should ensure the battery is fit for purpose...ask the retailer how old etc. Wisper ebikes are excellent value for value for money, and there after sales are second to none. I have the Torque 905
  18. Hi David Thanks for the bung watertight now !
  19. Yes that’s the one David...many thanks Ken
  20. Hi Hi John Welcome.I’m a newbie myself, and yes all the pedelec forums are great ! I’ve had some great help and advice from members and manufacturers.I’m made up with my Wisper 905 Torque and the guys at Wisper are the most helpful and customer friendly I have ever come across, plus it’s a great uk built bike ,and without doubt value for money. Enjoy your ebikeing. Ken

  22. Thanks David....the trouble was that the Allen bolt had been taken out and had got in the folds of the box....found it and followed your instructions......sorted thank you But no rubber bung ! Ken
  23. Hi All Well at last got my ebike a used 2016 Wisper 905 Torque 200 + miles ! It came in a box and the headstock is loose how do I tighten it ?
  24. Hi Eagle...my sentiments entirely..I’ve read the article by Marwood and that managed to steer me away from front hub motors.Been talking to Tony a lot from Woosh and think We’ve finally narrowed it down to the Santana 3 step thro with a 17Ah, although I fancied the Rio FB but the amount of off road I do didn’t warrant the extra rolling resistance!
  25. Anyone got a Woosh Rio FB/LS ? Would love to hear your opinions ?
