Hi, I would like some advice on which e-bike is best for myself, overweight at 19 stone. I live in the country and would want it to go along country roads and some off roads across field paths and in the woods etc but no heavy off road. I would have around £3500 to spend. Some much needed advise please! I am not sure when I can reply as I am a full time carer for my partner, so please do not think me rude if I do not reply straight away. Hi, this may sound silly but I don't have much understanding of electrics. My bike runs on a 48v 12AH battery. Can I upgrade the bike to a 48v 20AH battery, just put it on without any adjustments? Thank you.

Hi, the battery is still going strong! I thought it had died but one of the elements had somehow become a little out of place. Once it had been straightened up and some grease put on, all worked again and still going strong! I have had the battery for a couple of years now.

I converted my mountain bike using a kit supplied by Woosh bikes. Its been excellent! Maybe give them a call and see if they can help you?

maybe i meant to say a 'throttle' so my partner could ride it without peddling on some occasions

Yes just under £200 for conversion work and approx £550 for the kit. It was all a bit more expensive than I anticipated!

Hi Mike, I was initially quoted £100 but the bike needed further adjusting, they had trouble fixing the battery to the frame, needed another pedal sensor as the one provided was not compatible, and had to adjust axle length and a few further bits, so total came to just under £200.

Hi Mike, I purchased a kit from Woosh bikes and had it fitted locally. I did not have the confidence to do properly myself but all has ended up good!!! Thanks for asking,,,Stuart
