E-Bike storage?
This may (Or may not, who knows) be a 'stupid' or 'noob ' question but..... I have recently built a shed in which I hope to store my bike along with usual Shed stuff, gardening tools, powerwash, etc, etc. A guy at work said he had to move his back into his garage as, in his words, 'Started to rust due to moisture/condensation in the shed' I have to admit that whilst the inside is dry (It should be it's brand new) it has got me thinking. Anyone else had similar troubles, any advice as to how best protect the bike when not in use, or steps I could take such as moisture absorbing granules maybe placed near the bike? Any help/advice greatly received.

Woo-Hoo!!
Will indeed Stradaman just waiting for my new shed and I'll be using it a lot more, stored at my old man's at the moment so not quite as convenient to use.

Woo-Hoo!!
Well after getting my brand new Cube Acid One approximately 2-3 weeks ago I FINALLY managed to get out on it today, albeit only for about an hour WOW I must've been grinning all the way round brilliant I kept it in 'Tour' trying Turbo and Sport only briefly, and it was just SO much fun!! Looking forward to using it a lot more as the weeks/months roll on and hopefully do a review on the bike and my experiences as a 'Noob'

SO....this arrived tonight
Hi Philip, to be totally honest with you...I've yet to actually ride it! had it nearly two weeks and just due to work commitments, weather, family, generally life I simply haven't had a chance to get out on it It's the 2019 500 Model and looks really nice, seems to have good reviews and as soon as I DO get out on it I'll be writing a review on my experiences with it.

Not looking at being super fit but if I can get about mostly on eco mode I'll be happy, I haven't had a chance to get out on the bike yet but, just wheeling it about the garage tells me it'll be pretty heavy to push without some kind of assistance

Noob question
Not a lot of chance me going ‘Hardcore’

Noob question
As I've never had any kind of suspension on a bike before (Yes I'm that old) wondering if there's any tips for setting my front fork suspension up on my new bike? Just a starter for ten would do, it's a Cube Hybrid Acid One with SR Suntour forks (I know they're not the best but perfectly adequate for me) the literature is poor to be fair only telling you how to adjust for 'Sag' but doesn't really explain what to look for when setting up for this ' Sag'? Do I set it so there's minimal 'Sag' at standstill or am I over thinking this and just adjust to suit my own needs by experience/ type of riding? Sorry for all the no doubt noob questions but this is a whole new ballgame from my previous bike experience

I understand the comments about not standing, "cheaty" etc, but I hope to use the e-bike power levels as a tool to get me fitter, so what I'm hoping to do is on varying gradients use maybe not as much assistance (Not totally off probably as it's a fairly heavy bike anyway) to push myself harder and build up fitness/lose weight, I have a normal bike as well but after a stay in Hospital my fitness is pretty down at the moment.

They'll do for now...big enough hole in the wallet at the moment

Cheers I'll have a look tomorrow, not particularly bothered but never ridden with suspension and I used to be out of the saddle when hill climbing it would be nice to lock out, to be honest the review i saw for this had it triggered by a switch on the handlebars, but this was a Canadian model so may be different.

SO....this arrived tonight
My brand new, and first Pedelec arrived tonight. (Cube Acid One) Haven’t tried it yet and the battery is on charge as I text. First impressions, I love the whole package, pretty sleek, nice understated colour scheme and graphics (Not one for ‘standing out from the crowd’) heavy although probably comparable to most beginners Pedelecs? I had a pair of Ergon 3’s fitted as I like the riding position with the end bars. One thing I didn’t notice (Although I’ve only given the bike a cursory look) was a means to ‘Lock out’ the front suspension, I thought this was a feature on this model? Any comments/advice as always appreciated. I hope to document through the forum my experiences as I hopefully get fitter and lighter with the bike through the coming weeks/months.

Sit or stand?
So despite the motor assist it won't make any difference that's what I was hoping as I couldn't see standing up and extra effort making that much of a difference in performance, it was just something I'd read on other reviews/sites that suggested it made a difference.

Sit or stand?
Once again apologies if this is in the wrong category As I'm still waiting for delivery of my bike, and being new to Pedelecs, I'm doing a lot of reading on the subjects of best ways to ride them? Gears in favour of motor and vice versa, and the one I'm interested in is when climbing hills. As a big part of getting the bike is to kick start my fitness levels and lose weight I find conflicting theories around getting out of the saddle and remaining sitting letting the motor so the work when going up hills. My original plan is to use maybe eco mode as much as possible to help increase fitness, so is it still fine to get out of the seat whilst in eco and 'dig in' without it upsetting the way the motor may respond with the extra effort, or am I totally misunderstanding things?

The roads made me do it!
Ditto, I'm awaiting one of these myself and tbh am surprised at the lack of general reviews out there yet they seem quite popular or are at least favourably mentioned in the forums.
