Thanks for the replies. The bike is a RooDog Chic, I have a fair selection of tools, I can see the screws but can't get the screwdriver square on the head. Hopefully the pics will help Think it is 8 fun hub

Roo Dog Mayfair
Sorry if I try to push the bike backwards or lift the rear wheel up the wheel is solid so I suppose I should have said spin backwards, I've removed the chain to eliminate that and checked the brakes so I'm assuming it is something in the hub. Thanks

Roo Dog Mayfair
Just got bike out of storage, charged battery, all lights working on handlebars but no drive at rear wheel, also rear wheel won't spin backwards. Could this be a quick fix as was hoping to take it away next week. Thanks

Finally gone and done it but!!! Part two!!
so we set off on are ownership journey, after buying the bikes and really enjoying the experience, we need to find pastures new to ride them, so tow bar fitted to Peugeot Boxer camper (how much£££!!) now we need a tow ball mounted carrier to transport them has to have he tilt facility to access the rear doors, been looking at the Atera Sport and the Thule, it seems like the best option is the three bike carrier to take the weight of electric bikes. All help and advice gratefully accepted. Thanks again.

Finally gone and done it But!!!
after much deliberation about whether we could get on with electric bikes we bit the bullet and bought two RooDog bikes the Chic and Mayfair, having never ridden Ebikes it was a real eye opener, we jumped on them for our first ride which was about 12 miles and both my wife and I smiled all the way home(think after about 2 miles it was frost bite!!). My only criticism of the ride was the seat was pretty uncomfortable, so looking to all you seasoned riders for advice about saddles, I'm probably about ten and a half stone in old money. Thanks

Dilemma!!
Hi Juicy, thanks once again for the advice, much appreciated, have been in touch with Scott at roodog regarding the weight of the Chic and he's going to let me know the weight minus the front wheel and saddle which he informs me are both on quick release, I've been looking at the chic or the whisper step through as possibilities to use on the bike rack in the short term, my mate has the gtech but I'm not sure about the battery seem a bit small to me

Dilemma!!
Hi Juicy Bike, thanks for the advice regarding weight and power as it's our first time in to ebikes looking at the up to £1000 market either new or used, as we are both retired and having the camper van we tend to spend a lot of time abroad. As regards tow ball racks wouldn't want to block rear doors as they are an emergency exit

Dilemma!!
Hi Fat Rat, thanks. Juicy Bike, Emma!! Think maybe your not understanding my dilemma the weight quoted was for 2bikes from roodog, and yes if it's possible for even lighter bikes or more rugged rack, can't/haven't got tow ball so that's out.

Dilemma!!
Hi all, thanks for the approval Russ/Helen. Totally new to electric bikes, at the moment we have 2 Raleigh Evo 7 fold up bikes that we carry on a Fiat Ducatto camper van on a fiamma bike rack that is rated for 35kgs have been looking at 2 roodog bikes a cube and a Mayfair that between them without batteries come in at 39kgs, is their any way to fit them or do I widen my search. Thanks for any advice
